I think I know what and who Saz is referring to as well... And that's all I'm gonna say about it, as I'm not interested in e-mails like Saz received either.

I don't think you go over the top.

Vaskez, I will be as brutally honest as possible here. I would think that you of all the members here would appreciate that, or at least not be offended by it.

I sometimes think that you are not a brilliant judge of situations, i.e. you can be a little blunt where subtlety might be kinder. 99.9% of the time your posts are funny and not in the least bit offensive, but sometimes I think you misjudge the line. I thought your post on Avatar's goodbye thread was a bit off target really, but that is not your intention or normal effect. Occasionally, but far from usually, you have the potential to be offensive.

You're right Barry. People keep bringing up Avatar's thread as an example. While I admit that all your statements are true, in that one case I don't think I was over the top, although I admit I could have been friendlier. I honestly thought that he didn't mean that he wouldn't come back and got pissed off cos I've seen loads of people post such threads for attention only to come back in a week (I've even done it when I was new to bulletin boards, I don't do that anymore). So anyway, I thought all the drama was over the top and decided to say so. Also all I said was that I can't be considerate of him because I have no information about the situation. That may sound cold but it's not really offensive IMO.

Well, I think it is, because you couldn't really know what was going on and Avatar might have wanted to keep it to himself.

And from what I hear it's possible that he might come back, but not entirely impossible that he might be gone forever.

I don't care if he comes back or not. Anyway Neb, thanks I've taken your views into account you gave your opinion as I asked, so thanks but you don't need to keep repeating yourself.

From my view heheh Vaskez was completely right in Avatars leaving post. Avatar did not give us a reason, and even I took it in the wrong the way, I thought he just left because he got tired of us or something. I mean when you dont give a reason to why you're departing people will think strange things? Vaskez had all the rights to go ahead and question him on that subject.

Now people on various forums on internet can very easily be missunderstood, but thats ok, and there no point to get mad about it. I mean if you will write a buisness letter or any kind of normal letter, and you say joke you wont write there you know? It will make you look bad heh. So I really never took this so seriously, this is after all only internet, and arguing over the internet it can be easily compared to special olympics heh no offence to anyone please.

Its just best to deal with people that make mistakes in their posts sometimes, there is nothing wrong with it, we all say some stupid stuff at times, we're only human ...

I think he meant that he just don't need to know wether he leaves or stays..
This is a good example of how people misinterpret Vaskez's post..
(At least I think Neb misunderstood )
