This is for those of us a bit more mathematically inclined.

Find a simpler way to write the following expression:
(x - a)(x - b)(x - c) ... (x - z)

Should take more thought than pencil work . . .

I think that's cheating, so I'll let someone else give a guess.

I really didn't understand the answer though (mathematically inept here). Okay. I re-read the solution and I understand it.

You know how long I wracked my brain on this one until I wrote it all out???? WOuld the answer be "0"?

Yep. I'm not BK, so it isn't quite official.

When you write it out . . .
(x-a)(x-b)(x-c) . . . and then start up again at (x-x)(x-y)(x-z) it's pretty obvious that x-x=0 and thus any number(s) multiplied by zero = zero.

Great job catzenpewters. Maybe my brain will work better on the riddle you offer.
