'Round here, I've been educated to the fact that my beloved is not a housewife, but a professional mother. Or "Stay-At-Home Mom", as the current journalists like to say. I used to say that her full-time job was making sure our kids lived to kindergarten, and the first one made it this year. In another three years, I'm going to have to come up with a new job description for her... assuming I'm allowed to live that long.
Yeah ...I know.....but I'm not really into all this politically correct stuff....I am a housewife...the other politically correct term is home duties...now THAT makes it sound like serving a life sentence or something...but then again some days I guess it does feel like it LOL, wait till you have a teenage girl in the house argghhhhh.... and I am also short...not vertically challenged LOL. I also have NO problem whatsoever with acknowledging the fact that I CANNOT do anything my hubby can do...simple fact, men are physically stronger than women...and women are smarter LOL....ducking for cover now!!!!
Now I have gone to work with my husband and at the end of the day my back is killing me...every muscle in my body feels like it has been run over by a herd of elephants and I want to shower for a month to get the yuckkk off!!! (He lays seamless floors) I know my husband can iron and vaccume and do washing etc(painfully slowly but he can do it)...but his cooking leaves a great deal to be desired and if he had to pay the bills and do the banking etc we would be in some serious strife, so each to their own I say!!!!!

PS you could always say your wifes profession is the care and maintainence of all you hold dear in life!! (yourself included)

Gamers are great social people. I love games. Vidio games and roleplaying games. I'm 29 and am a drummer in a pretty big national heavy metal act called Diecast. We just toured for two months with Slayer and Hatebreed. Definitely a dream come true!
On my time not touring I love to stay up really late with my friends that keep odd hours and game. It doesn't matter what type....just games in general. I have made so many good friends through gaming. Chess in particular has been my favorite for the last 6 years. I get to study a lot on tour because the drives are soooo long sometimes. Especially through Canada.
This website is the first time I've ever really interacted with other people because most of the time they are just too damn cheesy. You guys are all awsome and incredibly social over this thing!
This site abslolutely ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

Oh, that's right... Willow's in the populated part of Canada. I've been north beyond Barrie... it's definitely not a new town every mile, for sure. Now, in the Toronto metropolitan area, I can believe it.

So smirks Bungleau, being in western Michigan where in three miles he can go from intensely populated commercial and retail areas to lonely cows.

Mooo-ving along...

rofl Bungleau!! My post above was one big joke. South is pretty populated, Hamilton, Kitchener (love that name ) etc. If I decide to travel north, well I could travel to the Hudson without seing a town lol.

Oh, I knew you were joking, WillowIX. I think something like 90% of the Canadian population lives within 100 miles (or ~160 km) of the US border. Not sure if they included the Alaska border in that... The rest lives in the other 94% of the country.

Now I've just GOT to chime in on this topic...
Wyoming: where the Antelope outnumber the people at least 5 to 1 (except during hunting season). Bungleau, I could take you to places within 100 miles of my house where you would not only be at least 20 miles from another human you would be hard pressed to find one of those Antelope...

I assume the others with remote areas in their respective necks of the woods could do the same

Heh...

By touring so much I've come to the conclusion that the middle of the country is there to feed the coasts. I can't tell you how many hours I had to look at grainfields during a drive! Coming from Boston this was a shock the first time 'round.
Oddly enough though, I really like Clinton, Iowa. And I couldn't get used to the north being to my right when I stood in Cal. and looked at the ocean. In Quincy, 2 miles from Boston' I live across the street from the ocean. The other coast just seems strange.
Crossing the Canadian shield during Feb. was no delight. There are these huge gates that can close BEHIND your vehicle if there is an avalanch. That was pretty scary. I didn't even get to see a moose, dammit! We traveled through the most reclusive parts of Canada to play all the tertiary markets and I didn't get to see a moose. I'm sad....
