ooc: doh, sorry Illsha, was away for the weekend .

ic: Elif sundenly jump's as if he was snapped out of a trance. Looking around he sem's mildly confused and mumbles something to himself, hten he say's " Alrighty, I have communed with our goddess and she has told me what to do. If you gentlemen could bring Ilsha into the temple and secure him to the altar before Aerie I will be right with you. There are some item's that I need to recover " Having said that Elif's image shimmer's and then disappear's.

As everyone start's to gather around Ilsha to pick him up and carry him into the temple, a mild rumbleing can be heard in the distance. A sound almost like thunder rolling across an open prarie. Bird's scatter and flock to the sky in such number's as to block out the sunlight, the air becomes chilled and then the ground starts t shake. A voice can be barely heard above the crescendo of sound " Help, Help us" the voice is that of a woman and is then joined by other's all yelling for help....

At the same time, the flame in the bronze receptacle changed in color from blue to emerald green, then to violet.

The wind picked up to a gail force blow. The temple gaurd's came to arm's and were at the ready,
on of the acloyte's asked where Elif or Avatar was
and silent response he got from a templar was answer enough. "Templar's be at the ready, there is a black storm coming and it is headed our way"
shouted Lorkin the master at arm's. "Out lords will return, but until then it is our sworn duty to protect and defend this temple and the people who come to it for saftey". The bunny cook's started gathering up the picnic and heading in side. The cry's that were coming from the women and children drew nearer to the temple, and a contingent of Templar's headed out to guide them in. Lightning started to flash across the sky, soon followed by a Thunderous clap that shool the ground. The air had a charged feeling and the small hairs on the body started to rise with the static. A sound could be heard in between the thunder clap's, it sounded almost like laughter...

Instinctively, Rufus waved his wand, and a miniature sun appeared in mid-air in the temple, casting a warm, bright glow on the temple's entire interior to offset the unnatural darkness. Deciding that more illumination would be even better, he swung his wand around again in a great arc and two miniature full moons materialised in mid-air as well, one in the northern wing of the temple and the other the southern wing, lending still greater brightness to the area.

(OOC: Elif and Illsha, what do you say? Maybe at some point the character Illsha could insist on being placed in the flame, and we'll just simply continue the story to the effect that he manages to survive the ordeal, to emerge a new (and much happier) Illsha. Let's say the gods just happened to be in a good mood at the time the cleansing by the flame took place. )
