Kaltia, I hope you feel better today. Having trouble breathing is one of the things I hate most about being sick in winter! I'm prone to bronchitis and I know how bad asthma can be. Take it easy!

Hey Azred! My Merlie loves all types of laundry baskets- full of clean clothes, full of dirty clothes, half full of either and totally empty! He especially loves the rubbermaid one with nothing in it, he can see out and poke at his toys.

I was off college for 3 months after sitting my exams last june and after a while I was desperate to get back to college as all the time off I had was boring me, now 3 weeks back into college I wanna be off again
But when I have lessons like I am in now where I can slack off and post on here I suppose it's pretty good. The only probs is im sat right under an air conditioning unit which is seriously making me cold, might even get a cold in which case I can stay off a while I just got a Geforece4 TI 64mb the other day, I was gonna go for a 128mb but im gonna eb getting a totally new computer within 5 months anyway so I thought it best to save the money so I can get a 128mb for my new comp as at the moment im sharing with the whole family so I want my own comp for my room, the 64mb is still pretty damm amazing in my view though, I got the Unreal Tournament 2003 demo and with everything turned on high it runs amazing, like I say its got everything possible turned on at 1240x480 and ive never saw it stutter yet, so needless to say im more than pleases ive got my pre-order of UT2003 with amazon.co.uk it should be at my house on October the 6th with the release date October the 4th, I only just started using amzon.co.uk when I got my Visa Electron, I got Queen Of Socery and Magicians Gambit by David Eddings as Ive recently started reading fantasy books, the first book set a good pace and I was eager to continue reading the series, the book (it was a 3in1 of the belgeriad series, books 1,2,3 all in one for £10) came wihtin 2 days. Anybody got any good reccomendations as to other books I may enjoy when ive finsished The Belgeriad series? Before I started reading The Belgeriad id finsihed Fear and Loathign in LAs Vegas, after seeing the film with Johnny Depp and Benitio Del Toro I had to get the book, and it didnt dissapoint, it was rather short and was finished in the same day that I bought it but was enjoyable nontheless and extremly funny, if you havent read the book or saw the film i urge you to do so, the film is the high point of both main stars careers as far as im concerned, Johnny Depp playing the main charcter Hunter.S.Thomson the reporter stuck reflecting in acid-days gone by, and Benitio Del Toro playing his "attorney" Dr.Gonzon (thats right isnt it? or is Hunter also Dr.Gonzo??) a overweight psychotic samoan. There are cameos from a fair few people including Christina Ricci a 15 year old devout christian picked up by Dr.Gonzo after running away from home. Id love to know if Hunter and Gonzo ever did meet up again in real life after the publication of the book, as Im sure the last time Hunter saw him was when Gonzo went onto the plane. I can only imagine what an encounter between them two nowadays would be like. Another autor im fond of is Terrt Pratchet, the dark humour in his books (and everyone knows how us Englsih love dark humour) is amazingly funny, and the characters too are great, like the 70 year old best warrior on discworld who has false teeth, conan I think his name is. I have 10 of the discworld books and will continue reading the series after the many more that I want to read My music efforst are going well too, im haflway through the demo cd im set to send of to Rephlex Records in a bid to get my work published, the music style is funky electro to which you can dance to, to weird abstract techno in which you'd be hard pushed to find a reccurring beat or rythem. When the demo cd is done I want to begin work on a games music remix, theyre many tools out there which can rip the audio files off games discs. Thereve been many times when ive heard a piece of music in a game and ive really wanted to remix it, so I decided why not! Its partly inspired by Aphex Twins PacMan tune, in which he sampled all the various sounds in a PacMan game and put them together to form a track. Games for choice would include Tekken and FinalFantasy for definate. I decided that for my name id rather have something more original, and somethign more to it than just Sio, ive got a label name thought up, but im reluctant to tell it until I get a definate yes or no from Rephlex, when id be able to copyright the name and prevent people from taking it for themselves. I recently stopped my Everquest account in a bid to prevent myself from been glued to the computer too much, but its much harder than I thought, I had a lot of time invrested in my main charcter who was a 35 VahShir Warrior called Unegin on the Firiona Vie server, and leaving behind the guild in which I was in 'Knights Of Scandal' and the friends id made on the game its hard for me not to be tempted to reach into my wallet to sign back up, my charcters still there but I guess a few months break from a game which I was playing 6 hours a day cant be a bad thing, its definatly given me more time to do other things, like music and Baldurs Gate which im thoroughly enjoying! some of the lines in that game have me cracking up like mad, and the quest with Ruffie the dog was a classic Ive heard quite a lot about NeverWinterNights, what is it like? what kind of RPG is it, and what the multiplayer like? im intrested in gettign this game but would like some opinions on it before I hand over the money Well my dinner time is in 5 minuits and ive done near to no work in the whole lesson, except when the teacher was coming round to check peoples work in which case I minimized the screen Laters All!!

Also look out for "After the King", Ed. Martin Greenberg, which contains a short story with Cohen (and a talking horse ) P.S. I have all the Discworld novels - something like 27-28 in total.

Lo all... poor u kat, and poor u cloudy ick, at college, again.. lol, terrible morning
it went like this... since I didnt have to be in til 11, I kinda slept in, my mum woke me up before she left, 9:30... hmm, rather stupidly, I fell asleep again... finally roused myself at 9:56... and basically panicked a bit I had decided to catch the 15 past bus, well 10:15 bus to be in for 11... you see, the buses come at 15 to and 15 past... lol, and if I caught the later bus, I'd be late lol. anyway, I kinda somehow managed to get dressed and ready and was out the house for 10:02... (how I managed that one I dont know :| ) lol, this is where it gets better I walked VERY fast to the bus stop, so I was there for 5 past... and as I was walking, I saw the bus leaving for 10:04... "Sh!t" I thought... then I decided it musta been the 9:45 one, since buses round here are NEVER early so I reached the bus stop... and waited... and waited and waited... lucky for me I met a friend down at the bus stop so I wasnt alone lol, anyway the "15 past 10" bus FINALLY arrived at 1/2 past... bah. At least I didnt have to wait til 10:45... (it would have been better if I had...) the bus didnt have its ticket thing working, so the driver had to HANDWRITE them... ICK, LATE! It should have taken about 15 mins to get into town... but no, it took 25! ****! :@ lol. anyway I boarded the bus with my friend, and the bus set off... 5 mins later, we saw another bus of the same route... this one obviously WASNT "broken".. finally arrived in town for 11:03.. almost rna to college, got to college, then up 4 flights of stairs and got into the room, just as the tutor was calling the register... luckly she was reasonable and understood. I liker her sooo much nicer then the other tutors that DONT listen (well, I have one in mind... ) lol, so thats been my day, oh and we did some java script in the morning lol,. so what all u been up to? (after lunch 3 hours of.. something, which sounds suppsiocly like a rip-off english GCSE.. bah!)

Rained this morning.
Started as I began my ride to the station and stopped - guess what? Yes, as I got to the station. But in that 15 minutes it tipped down and I got drenched. Stupidly wore my pale beige harrington jacket and it now looks as though I've had a mudbath in it. Sat in wet jeans all morning freezing. Have just spent £45 on a voluminous khaki anorak which virtually guarantees there will be no rain until I leave it at home by mistake. Have you any idea how cold you can get just by being a bit wet and doing 45 mph? Thought my legs were gonna drop off. Brrrr.

Morning, all. Kaltia. are you using inhalers, like albuterol, or pills like Singulaire? Just fatherly interest. Sorry that you are sick. (Pats shoulder) Ah, well, they say that is good for asthma,
Epona, that sounds awful. Yes, I know how cold that can be, since my ex-wife was driving us to Shreveport in October, once, with the top down. A sudden rain squall hit us, and drenched us both. She wouldn't stop to put the top up, as she said that she had to get where we were going to fix her hair, since we were going to a dinner party, so I froze for the nexy 60 miles. I never go back on that stretch of road again, without thinking of that. Brrr. Cloudy and Azred, the outside cat got into the house somehow, and I have it barricaded in the pantry for Galadria to toss out when she gets back from her run.
