@ST - ok I'll try that way for now but I agree with Manikus, I'd still like to not have to bother with it at all in the future if I can help it.

Is this the icestorm site you were referring to?

http://www.icestorm9999.com/frua.html

Edit: Aha! Found it. http://www.icestorm9999.com/downloads/frua_copyprot.zip

P.S. I figure I should post things like this for the benefit of others.

Okay, turns out that UAShell doesn't remove the password protection, but there is a great product called Neverlock which will do the trick.
Here's a direct link to it on Rosedragon-

Awesome thanks Manikus!

Wow, I've been playing The Final Reckoning for the first in so many years and I am once again laughing my ass off! I love it! Everything about it is funny, from the variations of the usual stat labels, temple healing options, bar drinks, and names of inns, vaults, stores and names of NPCs to the hilarious dialog. And the author makes great use of props like for example.

I'm walking along through a town when all of a sudden a group of black dragons land in front of my party! Oh no! But wait, I dont go into combat, they are talking to me - they want to know how to get to the Dragonlance set! I just stand there speechless and they give me a nasty look for being so unhelpful and take off in a huff. LOL!

After that close call with some black dragons I feel I could use a drink. So I go into a bar to listen to the local rumors around town in hopes of finding a clue. I look at the drink list. Its Pepsi, Coors, Whiskey and Tequilla. lol. So I have a Coors.

I see the opportunity for a bar room brawl and feeling like a kid again I decide what the hell. I already got equipped and trained up to level six and I have Bigngreasy with me who is level 40 so what the hell right? So I click on the bar fight option. The dialog responds: "So looking for a fight huh? Lucky for you there just happens to be four red dragons at the other end of the bar who are looking for one too. "

Oh shit! lol. So now I am fighting four red dragons in a damn bar fight! Hahahah! I love this game! I'm definately going to remake this one in DC.

Edit: I played a little more after I wrote that. The dragons kicked my ass all over the bar of course. Bigngreasy lasted quite a bit longer than my wimpy little level 6 warrior did but he eventually succumbed to their endless volley of inescapable area effect fire balls. I like to think he went down heroically like Van whatshisface from Reign of Fire [love that film!].

Anyway, the fight ends with the Dragons going back to their very large table at the other end of the bar to soothe their now smoking gullets again with some pepsi. [they are so huge that alcohol has no effect on them and it all tastes horrible so they have no reason to drink it - but boy do they love their pepsi! Only when it's ice cold though.]

After the fight just when I am sure we are dead and the game is over, we notice the narrator is still telling a story! It's saying - "So what have we learned from this little bar room brawl boys? Don't start bar fights!" lol. Gotta love this author's humor.

I finally did bump into Dana and Fox too. It was even funnier than I remembered! And I totally forgot that they actually join your party when you agree to help them find the way back to their own world. lol. This is great stuff.

Oh and Mulder says to Scully "Scully, it's obvious we've been sent to another world, just look around, the evidence is all around us!" Scully responds to Mulder: "Mulder, thats impossible, there are no other worlds, this is just a town made to look like a medieval village." Mulder:"Ok scully, then what the hell is that dragon doing flying over head?!" Scully responds:"Probably some rare species of very large bird." lol - I cant remember the exact wording but thats pretty much it.

Sounds very entertaining. I can't wait to see the DC adaptation.
