As long as it's not Brazil who wins it, i don't really mind which team does. Everyone seems to have a weak spot for Brazil, but i don't like them one bit. Besides, they already won five times, and it's getting kinda tiresome watching them do the samba time and time again.

So Australia have just beaten Greece, the 2004 European champions, last night 1-0. While its no doubt a good result Greece are not in the world cup so it is difficult to gauge. Are Australia now better than the rest of europe?

We're playing Hungary on the 30th May, Jamaica on the 3rd Jane, and England B v Belarus B tonight.

I'll have to find the good ol' Cross of Saint George and hang it out the window like every World Cup/European Cup.

COME ON ENGLAND.

i can understand heitinga. hes back in form and decent as centerback and rightback
what i dont understand is jaliens. i understand that we're low on natural rightbacks but ooijer and heitinga are far better then jaliens on that position even if they dont always play there. leave out jaliens for opdam and babel for huntelaar is what i would say
Well, in all honesty, i don't even see us making it through the first round. I'm starting to have doubts about our coach's logic, and we are in what can be considered the toughest group. All four teams in it could make it to the next round. If we do make it however, i can see us easily reaching at least the semi's.

Bah! Everyone seems to find it necessary to praise and sing Hallelujah when it comes to Cote d'Ivoire / Ivory Coast / Ivoorkust -- so sue me, I don't know what the country's called and I'm too lazy to go and find out.
