The Improved Bodhi fight is a bit bulls*** though. If you so much as have one summon( any summon) near her, she casts some spell that deals 70-80 damage in an area-of-effect( Insane Difficulty) and kills all summons... ...

She DOES NOT TURN HOSTILE, what the HELL is up with that? I had to manually click on her to target her during the fight. Oh, and she ALWAYS targets the weakest party member, even if the other five party members are wailing away on her. Not much of an improvement in my opinion... ...

"I wear the Amulet of Power and have Stoneskins and Mirror Images! Yay me!"

In the end... I defeated her by just pelting her with excessive amounts of Melf's Minute Meteors, arrows and bullets. She spawns with an entire posse of Grim Archers that completely surround her, and block her from moving around... yes... pretty smart for an 'Improved' Bodhi huh?

If I knew how to code scripts, I would smack the guy who did this 'Improved' Bodhi garbage and tell him to lay off the crack and booze. Improved Abazigal is an excellent example of an Improved fight, and that was done by one of the game creators. That should be used as the benchmark of difficulty balance, realism, and fun factor.

My tactics for Greater Wolfweres is hitting them with the Celestial Fury.
I always try to get it early anyway...
The biggest problem with Greater Wolfweres is their insane regeneration rate...
BUT! The stunnning effect of the CF stops the regeneration!! Once they are stunned, they are dead. Works great for me.
Heh, I only had the Flail of Ages, Sword of Chaos, etc... when I met them for the first time. You know, when I first started out and found the Celestial Fury, I thought to myself, "That's it?" and proceeded to sell it... ...

Took me about 2 months to appreciate its value. I still think it is a highly over-rated weapon though.

I personally hate Vamps but they become easier later on and are actually quite cool. So now i hate Wizards. There spells are so annoying and if in groups with fighters to help can wipe out my entire party sometimes. But if you only mean monsters then Dragons. I dunno why no one else didn;t say so. They are powerful with heaps of Hit points and annoying Breath attacks.

Well, my fight was completely different. In my fight, Bodhi WAS smart, targeting not-negative-plane-protected characters, and the Undead Sola isn't easy either.
Maybe it was an old version? Anyway, report it to Westley Weimer.

OVER rated?!? The Celestial Fury is, IMHO, THE most powerful one handed weapon in SoA. First, give it to someone with a HIGH rate of ApR. Then, if it's a tough opponent, Improved Haste him. It almost certain that the enemy will be stunned in a round or two. And, as you know, stun = auto hits, just like Timestop, so practically, a stunned opponent is a dead opponent.

I agree...When my dual-class kensai/mage character dual wielded Celestial fury as his main hand weapon and Dakkon's Zeth blade as his off-hand, he's definitely invincible! If you have Throne of Bhaal installed, Dakkon's Zeth blade gives you bonus spells for lvl 1~4, along with the stun effect of Celestial fury, and spells like stoneskin, spell trap, spell shield, etc. No one can even land him a hit! Also i combined Robe of Vecna and amulet of power, so casting a spell is like within a sec.... Oh, and i had fun killing about 1000 (don't remember the exact number) enemies at the end of TOB, too.

PS: In TOB, there's a better(IMHO) katana called the Hindo's Doom, it is a +4 weapon, and imbue the wielder with permanent negative plane protection. A handy weapon against those pesky vampires and the almighty demilich!

"Tank" (both a noun and a verb) is a computer rpg term also used in multi user dungeons.

A tank is not something you are, but rather something you do.

A "tank" is the characters who takes all the blows in combat, usually the one who stands in the frontline. You usually want your tank to have many hitpoints and a low armor class as well as some resistances.

An archer, though a warrior type seldomly takes the role as a "tank" because it defeats his primary purpouse, while a cleric, though a caster, can sometimes perform quite well as a "tank".

Arent greater wolfwere's supposed to regenerate all hp at the end of the round, if so that gives about 1 round, easy as anything if there are 3 fighter and 2 mages with spell triggers(lower resistance/flame arrow/misc. spells), one at a time will make them fall like perhaps Sir M's army before mine !
