Way to double post, ZFR. Anyway, that was just me soapboxing a public service announcement, don't take it personal.

Sorry man I misunderstood. But the only posts between that one and your last one was mine and shamrock's so I jumped to the conclusion it was directed to me . Then your "educate yourself" prompted my response.

The double post on the other hand was intentional . Just like all double posts on this forum.

If that was intended to me then never in any of my posts have I compared beast-milk to cow-milk, nor have I made any comments about cow's milk's nutrition values. All I said is I'd rather drink cow's milk than human; not because the latter is more nutritious, but because I find the former gross to drink.

All of agriculture receives huge government subsidies; which amounts to basically anything you eat.

Cow's milk = nutrition to calves.
Dude, if you're refferring to "cow's milk" the way its sold to humans than that is not equal to 'nutrition to calves' either. And the cow's milk which it produces in the few weeks after birth and which is equal to 'nutrition to calves' can actually have some (albeit little) nutritious value to humans too (though definately not as much as human milk).
Listen, all I know is that my dance teacher told me to drink a glass of milk every day to make my calves nice and strong. Apparently it's very nutritious.

I'm all for it, but if you are in a more conservative setting then it's good manners to do it discretely. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, and all that... But whats more disturbing, a screaming baby or half a minute of breast feeding?

Comparing feeding an impatient baby with an adult (who should be able to exercise a bit more patience) emptying bowels is a bit strange a perspective IMHO

Good debate, and I can see both sides.

But Luvian, I think ZFR has a great point. There is a relationship between action A and action B. Your skipping over it.

If a woman breastfeeds in public, it wouldnt bother or offend me.

BUT

I'd rather she didn't.

Not sure why, but it's just the way it is.
