You are an enigma TL!! I'm certainly not looking for the suffering that you have listed. That won't be good for any of us in the short or long term.

The $ is likely to weaken still more over the next four years so the rental on my US property will be decreased. Conversely the fact that there was a difinitive result will improve the value of my US stocks.

Close: The US has used the real but small threat of a global terrorist network as an excuse to expand its power and political / military influence around the world. I think few here would disagree with this; the only argument is whether it is a good thing or not
