Who wants a portrait site to be hosted?

I am not flaming anyone but could you aleast take it to e-mail or MSN because I am sick and tired of coming on the board everyday and finding that the debate over what has happened in the past between TeamBG, LN and Ironworks is still going on. Don't you people know that Ken and LN are browsing the board everyday. Everything that they see concerning this is making them more and more pissed off.

I have taked to LN on MSN and to Ken through the Personal Messanger on his site and all they talked about is what is happening here. I'd rather talk to them about other things (like how to do this with BG or just on how things are). NOT the things that has happened between the sites.

So ENOUGH is ENOUGH. Let the involved parties take care of this themselves not us. Sorry to the Ziroc and the MODs but I had to say this. The debate over this has gone on far to long. "Please do not delete this posts."

Hello everyone
Some of you may know me, since i am from TeamBG forums.

Right, i have not came her to flame since that would be stupid and rude.
As you know Ken and Ln both know what is happening here.

They both are angry, they feel betrayed and backstabed by people they like or at least respected.
I think that portrait sites are legal. Also i am French. So laws are different....(but this is not relative)
Now closing down or triing to close down sites is a stupid thing in my opinion.
Why would people want to do that, i wondered?
There are multiple reasons that spring to mind but i will not mention them.
Now if we wer talking about child pornography portrait sites i could understand. I also recommend people interested in closing useful and legal sites down to do that instead. It would make me happy.

Now the point i would like to make is that people should mind their own buiseness.

Signed by a person that would like an answer. One that would explain why people would close down useful sites. Also the reason for the artist's sake is a good one but not a personal one.

A while ago I sent a few pictures to LN myself. I never withdrew permission or objected to their use, so how come other artists get majority say in the matter?

We will put it to rest when it is time to put it to rest. That time would be when the issues here have been solved, in which they have not. Personally I like having customized portraits and such in my games and Darkpiper tried to take that away from us fans. Sure she might have valid reasons (which I do not agree with), but her methods were less than desirable. Personally I do not think her motivation was not for the welfare of the artists (not at first anyway), but more because of a petty jealousy between herself and Lady Nightshade then it branched out.

I have been to that one chat discussion at TeamBG voicechat and you should have seen Darkpiper's true colors. Anyway, I digress. If Ironworks want her around then fine, but just remember that she and Rimshot was the cause between the rift between PBG and TeamBG that is ever so slowly mending. I hate to see a larger rift between ironworks and TeamBG form because of her. Most of your people here add a positive experience to the game and to this, she will not. I will be lurking and I will add a nonchalant post here and there.

Darkpiper, I hope you can someday change your self-rightousness and malignent perdatorations and just let us players alone and let us play the game.

I agree with you, but this is why discussions like this should be done by e-mail. I am sick of hearing TeamBG dissed, I am sick of hearing Ironworks dissed. Having this debate here is just winding some TeamBG people up, which is surely the last thing we want if we are trying to build bridges rather than burn them?
I for one, want to feel at home both here and TeamBG, but at the moment I can't. I have purposfully stayed out of this entirely until now, and I only post this because I am sick of it! If it doesn't stop soon, I will probably leave both boards.
