At this time, the Time Stop has expired. These are the results of the spells.

================================================== =============================

1. Stun cast at Marcos.
Roll(2d4)+0:
1,2,+0
Total: 3 rounds stunned.

================================================== =============================

2. Animate Undead.
Skeletal Chieftain was summoned.
(The bones of the dead, animated by dark magic, Skeletons have no mind of their own. They are but an extension of their master's will.)
Stats of creature will come from NWN toolset.

================================================== =============================

3. Fireball cast in between Marcos and Vincent
(Note that my map is not exact as to space between players. My NWN map is more accurate than the drawing.)

Roll(10d6)+0:
6,3,2,6,2,3,2,2,6,1,+0
Total:33

* Marcos receives 33 HP fire damage
* Vincent receives 33 HP fire damage.
================================================== =============================

4. Cast Cone of Cold at Marcos
Roll(15d4)+15:
2,1,4,1,4,4,2,1,4,4,4,1,3,1,3,+15
Total: 54

*Marcos receives 54 HP cold damage.

================================================== =============================

5. Is currently casting a spell, and his mirror images show this, as well as a flicker of light can be seen where is is standing...but with so much magic going on, you'll have a difficult time seeing this.

OOC>>>Good luck everyone!

Plaxica 31/85

As he was about to attack Andrion again, a net hit him. He nearly touched the floor when a strange thing happened. In one moment he saw Andrion just finishing a spell, and in the next he saw four spells leave the mage and a fifth being cast. Plaxica had only heard rumours of some mages being able to twist even time. He guessed that this was what had happened here. Then he hit the ground. Dazed for a moment he shook himself. He noticed that in owl form he was going to be able to get out from under the net with some wiggling and twisting around. He turned his body, with the net cutting into him and managed to get his head and one of his wings out.

OOC>>>Lets have another go at this Nanashi scene.

Nanashi

The foolish Andrion had done exactly as she had desired. All she needed was some decoys to lure out the better fighters, and then she would have the whole palace to herself to strut about.

When she made sure that the battle was engaged full on, and that all the help that would come had came, she left the gardens and followed the small path around the back of the castle that led behind the Left Wing.

All of the doors and windows had been barred by the guards. There was no easy way in. It seemed that the only possible way was through the very room where the fighting was taking place. But that would not be the best option. She needed in, secretly, as to search out Larry on her own and with no hitches, such as a tag-a-long mage and his dark boyfriend.

When she could not find any openings, she decided that she'd have to break in through a barred window. Leaping up, she kicked in the wood that was barring the opening, splintering it out of her way. The room was dark inside. That was good. She leaped through the torn opening, and rolled into the room. She listened for any noise of guards rushing to find out what had made the break in. None were heard. She sniffed about, and found the scents of humans, but they were not nearby. She creeped through the room, opened the door to the hallway and pranced down the corridor until she could hear voices. Staying low and to the wall, she sniffed again to see if she could pick up Larry's scent. It was not found. Maybe one of these guards knows where he is... she considered.

OOC>>>Legolas, can you give me a sketch of the area?

Larry Silverfall 23/23

When the man announced who he was, it finally triggered some memories to come back into Larry's mind...from that place that is sealed with Shadow.

For a moment, he was no longer standing in the room with the behemoth in the tower, but instead was in another tower. A darker one. He sat upon a throne of cold material, and before him bowed a man. He raised his head, and behold...it was Morgeraut.

Larry shook his head clear. He was back in the leaning tower with the big woman and the man who claimed he wanted to protect Larry againt those that would have him killed.

The Forgotten Hero makes one last move...
Quote:
Mendel is slumped over beside him, and is alive, but too tired to even get up. He has lost alot of blood, but still conscious at this point. He is exausted from his attempts to keep himself alive against the (dominated) guard.
He is on the far right wall, and nearby is the doorway to the Right Wing.
Mendel had watched his best friend die, after coming to fend off the drow and dominated guard. The guy that had been a tool in the hand of the mage laid there on the floor, unmoving after Kendel had disarmed and injured him. He'd need medical care soon, or he could bleed to death. Mendel looked down at his own wounds and realized the same thing. He was already feeling light-headed and sleepy for loss of blood. He just sat there against the wall and watched the battle rage on around him. The drow had been approached by another, obviously an ally from the looks of it since he had come in with Marcos. Another man stood behind the door on the south wall firing arrows at the invisible mage, hoping to hit him. Marcos came in and began searching for the mage as well, using a net to trap a large owl in the process.

All around him...fighting was taking place. But then something odd occurred. Suddenly, Marcos was standing still while a skeleton faced him, yet still not moving from where it stood. A fireball exploded in the floor's center, sending flames licking at the Inquisitor and the man with the arrows. But not even a second after the fire began to burn did a spray of icy cold come from near the corner of the room to freeze the newly burned Marcos. What was going on? It was incredible at the sight of such power erupting all at once, not to mention that skeleton standing over there all the sudden as though it had always been there. When Mendel wiped the pain from his eyes at seeing all the sparks and flashes occur in rapid succession, he heard a voice near him...seemingly from the same wall that he was leaning against. He followed that voice and saw a flash of light, almost as tall as a man, he supposed.

Mendel hurt alot. But he knew he had to do something. It looked like this mage might kill everybody in this room if nothing was done. Using the wall to support him, he pushed against it while working his knees to bring himself standing upright. He had not weapon nor could he hold one, he supposed. Keeping his back to the wall as a brace to keep him from falling, Mendel inched along, trying to hurry but making sure he did not fall. He had to make it.

When he got there, the flashing was not as bright as before and Mendel had to stare hard to see it. There! It is there!

He lunged at the faint outline of a shimmering ghost-like shape, who was still reciting some kind of phrase and working his arms. The images all around the room proved this. He lunged forward, leaving the safety of the wall and grabbed the air where he supposed the mage was. He grabbed something that should not have been there, and the talking stopped. It was as hard as a rock! Mendel and the object both fell to the ground. When Mendel was abl to again think straight after the fall, he lashed out with his fist and hit the object he had ahold of. When he did, something odd happened. The rock-hard object softened, and became flesh-like. But then his other arm began throbbing with intense pain and he grabbed at his wound and cried aloud.

OOC>>>Mendel has hit Andrion twice, which is nine attacks total on the stoneskin. The stoneskin has completely dissapated.

Andrion took no damage since his stone skin was in effect during both attacks.

Mendel has suffered 2 hp for the fall, 2 hp for the punch to a rock-like surface, and 1 hp for the new pain from his wounds. Total = 5hp for Mendel.

Andrion Wilgor 40/40

He could not believe it. The man he had thought to be dying or at least unconscious had not only managed to attack him, but also interrupted his concentration and made the last attacks on his stoneskin. Furious with anger Andrion snatched at the dagger in his belt and pulled it out. He saw Mendel looking at the images and he saw the terror in his eyes. But before striking Andrion sent a mental command at the skeleton he had summoned.

"Attack the closest, until he is dead!"

Then he swung with the dagger, first as a feint at the chest, but before striking with a flick of his wrist he changed the direction of the strike and aimed at the left eye.

Move results.

Mendel is dead, dying in alot of pain.

Marcos is the closest to the Skeleton, and it begins to follow its master's will, walking toward the stunned man. It holds a rusty sword in its right skeletal hand.

Kynnen 67/85

Kynnen was having a hard time defending himself of the attacks with the halberd. Just as he deflected one attack, another came at him from another side, and he had to dodge it. His best option was to use the halberd's reach to keep this new one at bay, out of range of his blades, and to jump backwards if he comes near enough to strike. His whole body was already covered in blood, and some of it was even his.

OOC: Full defense. If Silt ever gets within range to attack me, I'll use my halberd to defend from the attack by matching it roll-for-roll.

~Where flowered words fail, reality awaits~

"We are familiar with the ill-fated order," the woman said, her eyes unseeing. "There was a time when our lord husband had a squire in his service. Now, it has left us with little beyond darkness."

She looked at Larry.

"We have requested your presence here, and are well pleased you have answered the summons. It is not every day a legend resides in the keep. A good thing, I am sure you will agree, considering the troubles it brings to our door."

The duchess pulled a handful of strings, dangling from a beam, a little lower. There was a sound of bells ringing cut short.

"There may not be as much time as we would desire. We understand you seek to bring back the dead, would you not tell us more of this?"

ooc: The strings are tied to a rather basic alarm system in the stairwell, which has now been armed. Disturbing one of the wires makes a bell ring in the room above but doesn't otherwise do much of anything. There are about ten of them, in all.
