OOC - I have returned Iron_Ranger is having technical difficulties and cannot post here at the moment

IC - Shadow leans back in his chair and looks at the goblins lined in front of his desk.

"Now have you done as was ordered?"

"Yes master, of course anything you say is our command. We now have a new key of Starshadow's room, the mess is cleared up and each thief is being carefully watched.

Ferron tried to loot from the treasury, and.. oh yes Heartless got attacked by a zombie of some sort which she killed."

"Wonderful, a zombie... well I did warn her about the dungeons. It is time to start planning their first test, bring everyone to the planning chamber immediatly."

Shadow stands and grabs his maps and walks into the nearby chamber.

While carefully placing a painting back on the wall after vigoriously searching his room for hidden compartments or safes, Ferron hears a knock on his door. The same stocky little goblin that greeted him when he first arrived stepped into the room.

"Master Shadowhound wishes everybody to the planning chamber. Follow me when you are ready." says the goblin.

"Very well," replies Ferron. "Show me the way." After a short walk through the castle, the goblin stops in front of a large wooden door.

"Please wait in here." says the goblin.

Ferron dismisses the goblin with a wave of his hand and enters the door. In the middle of the room is a long rectangular shaped table. It looks very valuable. Shadowhound is already in the room sitting at the head of the table sipping wine from a gold goblet. Ferron waves to him as he enters and sits down at the table.

Heartless waltzed into an adjoining chamber to find Shadow and Ferron.

"Ahh, yet another room to hide in, I see."

Heartless was feeling better now. The adrenaline and excitement from her earlier fun had subsided and she was no longer looking for an argument. "I saw another one of your little relatives on the way, Shadow. Said I should come right in."

As Shadow greeted her, she walked over to a far wall and casually leaned up against it for support. She winced slightly as part of her back rubbed up against the wall.

"I had an unexpected guest a little while ago," she said conversationally. "He didn't stay long though." She rubbed the spot on her back that still hurt. "Pity. He had that eye contact and persistance that is so rare these days."

"So, what's on the agenda?"

After Starshadow leaves, Ja'mar starts to browse through the books in the library. He sees nothing that interests him, so leaves the library and starts on the way to his room.

Waiting at his door is a small goblin. It turns it's ugly little face up to him and speaks.

"Mr. Shadow would like all the guild members in the Planning Chamber immediately. sir."

"Very well, lead on."

When they reach the chamber Ja'mar greets everyone and sits down at the table next to Ferron.

"Hello my dear, I don't believe we have met. I'm Ja'mar. What might one as exquisite as you be called?"

EDIT: Dropping the sig.

Shadow looks at Heartless, "Little relatives indeed, I think we should wait for a few more members to arrive before I outline my plans. Stupid goblins have probably gotten lost again."

Edit: Crimson King, lose the sig in this thread.

"Well hello yourself, handsome. They call me Heartless."

Heartless walks over from the wall and sits right on the table. She crosses her legs, revealing only jeweled daggers sheathed in black velvet boots. She smiles at Ja'mar with bright green eyes while smoothing her dark gown. Long, golden blonde hair flows over her bare shoulders.

"And what do they call you?"

"I am Ja'mar, fighter-thief extraordinaire. It is a pleaure to make your acquaintance." Ja'mar reaches out ,takes Heartless' hand and kisses it lightly.

"So, what's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?"

Starshadow walked onward toward the kitchen, envisioning the many treats awaiting him. He could almost taste them. "It's been a while since I've had something nice to eat," he thought.

He walked in and only found pastries, which wasn't exactly what he was hoping for. Still, it was better than nothing, and he took a couple. With swift grace, he turned and walked out.

Almost as soon as he had come out, he was run into by a running form. Pastries went one way and maps rolled the other. "Damnit," he muttered, lamenting over the maps more than pastries. He looked over to the form and noticed that it was a woman. "A half-human," he thought. "At least this one has some redeeming qualities."

She apologized, which the elf accepted with a nod of his hooded head. And then she pointed at the maps. "These? Oh, these are just maps of the surrounding areas. I figured I'd get these copied, as it would help if I knew exactly where I am. Wouldn't you agree?" He was cordial and spoke softly, as she did not have the bearing of a thief. She was probably a bard, and they had to be dealt with differently than thieves.

He helped her up from the ground with a gloved hand. "You should watch where you're going. Unless, you're being chased by one of the people here...?" There was a glimmer of hopefulness there, as if he would like nothing better than to stick a blade into one of the others. Which was probably true.

A goblin came up to them and said that Shadow was expecting their arrival in one of the rooms. "Looks like we're needed, newcomer," he said to the woman. "I'm known as Starshadow, by the way. Come, let us follow the goblin."

He turned toward the goblin leading them. "I hope you haven't been messing around near my room. I'll know if something is amiss, by the way, so I suggest that you not be around when I get back, else... Well, let's just say I'll have some fun if I find one of you, okay?" The goblin instantly began to shake as he heard the words, which made Starshadow smile.

ooc: Okay, Skye and I are on our way there.

ooc- *laughs* nice girl/guy odds here.. Heartless and I are going to get overwhelmed with all the attention

ic- Skye grinned at Starshadow, who seemed to be rather nice. "The name's Skye, bladebard," she bowed flourishingly. "Nice to meet you." While they were walking down the hallway in the general direction of where they were supposed to be going, she made an attempt at light conversation. "So, uh, you were able to get into your room? I'm still locked out of mine," Skye laughed, the tips of her pointed ears pink with slight embarrassment. "How did your room look? Hopefully mine's ok... this place sure is big," she commented, then covered her mouth. "Sorry, stop me when I start rambling like that. I don't try to chat people's ears off," she appologized cheerfully, scratching the back of her head, chastined.

She looked at Ja'mar for a moment before answering.

"Oh, nothing too extravagant. I sometimes deliver messages to people who don't get the message. You know how it goes."

Heartless slid into a chair after brushing off the seat with her hand. She assumed a bored expression and stared at the maps on the table with little enthusiasm. She was in for a long speech from her employer, she was sure. But when all was said and done, she suspected her role would consist of no more than a simple sword thrust between someone's third and fourth ribs. It was one of the drawbacks involved with working in a group of thieves. She wouldn't get to enjoy the simple pleasures of locks and traps with so many professionals around her. All she had to think about were bloodstains on her new gown.
