The doors swing apart, crashing into the walls, as a blurred golden shape shaves past the monk with a few centimetres to spare. It arcs over and over, spinning in the air, flying forward with a speed almost eye-watering. With a *THUNK*, it embeds itself into the ingrained wood of one of the bar posts; a gleaming golden sword, fairly dispelling the shadows of the crowded, smoky bar, glowing with powers unknown.
Impossibly, the sword speaks:
"Ow."
Following the sword's path is a tall, young - but somewhat grizzled and footsore - warrior, clad in dented, tarnished, partially rusty armour with a large metal patch-plate over the chest; dark hair matted with sweat and mud, He stomps over to the bar, chainmail rattling, seeming no less dangerous for his lack of weapon. He rests one plate-clad arm on the bar.
"Lime spritzer, and a packet of dry roasted peanuts, please, barkeep."
The sword speaks again.
"Did you HAVE to do that throwing sword thing?"
The warrior smiles faintly.
"Sorry, Karnas."

"Well, that seemed to scare 'em," continues the sword. "What now?"
"Hmmm..." the knight continues munching his peanuts. "Anyone for a game of cards?"

A portal opened, bringing a tear to the eye of many an old costumer, as well as causing a tear in the fabric of reality. After spitting out a single person, it swiftly collapses upon itself and dissapears before anyone can say "Hey look, it's an elf".

It was an elf.
One of those elves who thought they should be taller than most men and wear only greens and browns, and just a little bit of silver because it could shine so pretty.

After his latest wild ride and the solid floor which ended it, the elf decided it was time for some high-energy nuts, some wine and maybe even a wedgie or two. He rose to his feet and took a few wobbly steps in the barkeep's general direction.
So far so good, he managed to think.
He wasn't even halfway there before he collapsed into a heap again, hitting his nose on the floor.

"Ouch!"

One thing was certain; it was a hard floor.

IC- Skye grinned happily at Tancred and Karnas. "Why hello, I haven't seen you around for awhile. What have you been off doing?" She gave the elf who had appeared a worried look, then went over and helped him up. "Um, are you alright? It's not always a good idea to hit your head on the floor. I would know, from tripping so often."

Hey, caleb, since your keyboard seems to be working again, why don't you join in the salem witch hunt again? Your character is merely unconsious, as is shadow, and opek, madman and I are fighting a giant spider. Or if you'd rather not, we can just finish you off somehow. ^_^

The elf managed to mumble a thanks even though his head was still spinning. Resisting the urge to throw up, he took a purging breath instead and carefully examined the blurry people nearby. Something looked familliar. He supposed that was because he'd seen them before. Just his luck to end up in the long portal and show up not only later, but sick.

He pointed a wobbly finger at Skye.
"Eye.. eye... I know you! I think..."

He grabbed a nearby table to steady himself.

"Legolash.. tha's me... oooh..."
