At my theater we got it like 2 weeks ago, and it's done fairly well. People that come out seemed to enjoy it, and I haven't seen one person just walk out of it so that must be a good sign. I haven't decided if I want to see it, it wouldn't cost me anything really as I can get in for free and stuff.

I would recommend seeing it, it's a great movie with good acting and decent effects. Don't let the perception that you need to have seen the series deter you. "I am a leaf on the wind, watch me soar"

Didn't like the movie, the acting felt fake, the plot contrived, and I was just waiting for Rain to get shot by some poor dumb grunt.

The reviews here in the Netherlands aren't that good. I might go see it though, however there's a Harry Potter movie I just have to see waiting in line as well.

The drama! The horror! Which one to choose!

When do reviewers ever praise an entertaining movie?
Granted, it's more a mini-episode than a movie and watching the series does help your understanding of the characters, but it's definately not essential.

All I know is that I had fun.
