Alright.
I saved Clarie and killed Galvena, because Faldorn doesn't like slavery. Or spatters of blood on her leather armor. Either way, she lies dead.

I'm halfway through the Asylum, and the toughest battle so far has not been the beholder, or mind flayer, or anything like that. It was the greater werewolf (Or was it a wolfwere...) He regenerated way too fast, and everything I had had one attack per round. I cast Nature's Beauty to blind it, and ended up having to Rest And Retreat four, count *four* times before I could defeat him. I ended up casting Magic Resistance on it, having everyone (Me, Simu-Faldorn, two fire elementals, and a wyvern) use their one attack, get it down to Injured... and then have me and Simu-Faldorn both use our Rings of the Ram, and then our Wand of the Heavens. That took care of the little bugger.
By comparison, the Pit Fiend was cake, and the beholder a joke.
We're going to take on Dace now, but I don't forsee any difficulty with anything at all until it comes time to get the blood of a powerful neighbor for the Matron Mother. That should be the next difficult battle (Watch something simple show me up AGAIN! I have a track record for this, don't I? Breeze through vampires and Mae'Var, get nailed by mephits and a lycanthrope...)
Until then, though, I remain
-Faldorn the Great Druid

yeah, when I went with a solo totemic, the biggest pain was the greater wolfwere--at least until I got HLAs...

i think you will cheer when you get them

Oh, yeah. I can't wait for them. But I'm still on Level 14... Maybe I should have done some more quests in Athkatla.. The slaver quest comes to mind... but I wanted to hurry up and get the Bag of Holding to make my life easier. Feh...

Ive been playing a Solo Avenger on-and-off for a few months now. Did Windspear Hills today. Took a while to get a tactic against a certain greater wolfwere as well...ended up summoning everything possible, DUHM+Harm combo and everyone hit at once. One of the elementals scored a hit right after, and bye bye wolfdude...or would it be dudewolf?
