chain contingency time stop when emeny is sighted than cast imprisonment. and if the didn't work cast time stop agian on the third round and u get three more round to work with and seeing how it is a fully buffed out mage I sure u could come up with a few scrolls of time stop I can think of two. but a mage could kill the cleric befor they even get to cast a spell. I don't have ToB so I don't know what max level is but at 18th lvl. and being a specialist mage that would give u one time stop puls lets say two scrolls of time stop thats 8 rounds that the mage get to cast spells I am sure u could come up with something to kill any cleric.

As almighty as the BG2 Mage can be, a player-controlled Mage cannot store Time Stop in Chain Contingency.
Not that it's a big issue. |

Cleric will cast sanctuary, cloack of fear and blade barrier, then we will be in buisness. Plus he can attack the mage with flail of ages. No stoneskin will help.

But Protection from Magical Weapons and the Hell bonus which makes you invulnerable to normal weapons will protect you from any attack...

O well like I said I don't have ToB. Still 8 rounds under the control of the mage is quite a few.
