Yeah, I agree. It's easy for people not to want to recognize the holiday, but they don't seem to mind the day off with pay.
I think in the first post, it was said, no smiles etc. Actually, I just read it and it says "no one word or smiley posts". So maybe they can be added?

Smileys can be added! LOL
Oh and Ross, be careful telling anyone you can't sleep around here... I think they have a frying pan they pass around!

Cloudy, did I say anything about not being able to sleep? I have no problem with sleeping, just WC3 takes away the need to sleep, or at least the will to sleep.
Well, that is my WC over for today. I am in a great mood when I just found out how small the world really is. A guy I know from IRC was taught back in 94 by a teacher I was also taught with. The world is small!

Whoa! Snow already! Hope you can enjoy it more than it will be an inconvenience.
Well, just thought I'd pop in to say that I've quit smoking. Been about 6 weeks since I started trying to quit and I'd have 1 or 2 a week for three weeks (just when I was weakest). Now it's been 3 weeks since I've had a single drag. Nothing against those who still *do* smoke, though. I just really *needed* to quit. I'm mildly asthmatic and it was reeking havoc on me, plus, hubby and I are trying to get preggers, so it's best for me to stop now. Congrats on quitting smoking! Hope it lasts, that's a hard thing to do, but worth it for your health.
Yes, snow! Hopefully it won't make traffic too bad. First snow usually brings out the nutcases who drive like it's a sunny day in June. Of course I don't mind the snow if hubby and I can be curled up watching it through a window in a toasty room! Just hate the driving madness it brings on some folk!

Congrats on quitting smoking, Lady S. I yell at patients all day long that are slowly destroying their lungs "You are killing yourself!" I get maybe one a year to quit.
