People, give me a spoiler, where do i find the staff of magi?? I searched all the corners (IMHO didnt miss one) and still no sign of the toy

The staff of magi is in the twisted rune building in the bridge district(same row of houses as the tanner) but you need a rogue stone to enter.The fight is rated to be tough but i dont understand why

The one with a lich in the basement?? Or different one? And which door should I take to have a battle advantage/avoid trap (if there is one; i remember poor Jaheira petrify near the lich's door)

Close, it is the door to the right of the one with the Lich in the basement.

Ahh! the one which has a void behind if you havent got the keystone

I thought it was the "side effect" of a lich being buried near...

Be careful when opening the door because it is trapped.
