Friday, today I run the gaunlet, that is my friends.

"you wanna come out? There's someone who wants to meet you" translation "come out and buy drinks for us, I want to set you up with my mate, who's already decided she doesn't like you"

hehe, but the, it'll be five days tomorrow, and that's something worth being happy about.

Hey Q'alooaith, maybe it won't be so bad! Good luck, either way!

Scammer's seem to be flocking to my inbox now. This is most odd. Here's one from a guy who claims to be from ebay.

Dear eBay Member,
We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your eBay account from a foreign IP address and we have reasons to believe that your account was used by a third party without your authorization. If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual login attempts may have been initiated by you
The login attempt was made from:
IP address: 172.25.210.66
ISP Host: cache-66.proxy.aol.com

By now, we used many techniques to verify the accuracy of the information our users provide us when they register on the Site. However, because user verification on the Internet is difficult, eBay cannot and does not confirm each user's purported identity. Thus, we have established an offline verification system o help you evaluate with who you are dealing with.

Refresh my memory, do they not use the name you give them in any emails they send to you?

Here's another clue. My hotmail gave me this nice bit at the top of the page:
" The sender of this message, aw-confirm@ebay.com, could not be verified by Sender ID. Learn more about Sender ID."

Then there's the link that they ask you to go to that you might verify the transaction. >www.dollarz.job-secretary.com/DOLLARZ/English/example/3.htm<

Reeks of scamminess.

Too hot and sweaty, it's not all that hot today, it stormed and now instead of a dry too hot heat, there's a highly uncomftable damp heat.

Yep Q'alooaith, humidity always makes the temperature feel much hotter. Unfortunately we have high humidity levels most summer days here. We had 5 days of enjoyment without it recently, today being the last according to the weather.

What are cause shoes?

I have a new PC to set up this weekend, might lose my Sacred savegame too. I did copy it on a disc but not sure if I'll figure out how to get it back on there. No biggie I guess, only at level 47. Heh..

Kinda sad turning this PC off. Had it for 6 years and it still works fine really, cept for it's recent shutting down problems. It's also my very first PC, and the one I first visited Ironworks with back in 2000. Sentimental LOL. Have to put her in a nice storage space, perhaps to use as a backup, not tossing it!

Lol! I would hope not. I didn't think much of Calgary got flooded... mostly Drumheller and Medicine Hat and those places.
Well the elbow river flooded alot of houses in Calgary. And the island accross from the Imax downtown was no longer a island.
I didn't think that many houses were on their river. Or are the banks lower than the N. Saskatchewan?
Attalus- No chance of that happening... I live at least 5K from the river that goes through Edmonton. Ironworks club? Where is it, and how do I join?
