yep, maximas zorreguietas father was the ex minister of agriculture in videlas dictatorship back in the 70s. even though he might have had knowledge of what was going on, and he probably is a little fascist himself, i had no qualms to him going to the wedding. after all, he is her father. and shes not royalty (there is no royalty in argentina) but she is belongs to one of the most distingued and traditional families of argentina there. its like being a kennedy, or a rockefeller, etc in the us.
i constantly read argentinas newspapers to keep in touch to what is going on in my country. and the wedding was quite big there, newspaper covers, tv, social magazines, etc. oh, and i can see maxima and his bro displayed our typical argentinian charm. [img]smile.gif[/img]
