What horrible yellow creature?
Um, in BG2 I'm a swashbuckler dualled to mage. At least it's hot on the weekends, here in sydney it was raining on the weekend although today it's nice and sunny, 25 degrees centigrade, not a cloud in the sky, so i'm off to bondi!! |

Ehm, i think the horrible yellow creature you're referring to is a pit fiend.

This is way off topic, but I'm surprised Black Isle didn't give Jan a pit fiend story.
"Ah, all this travelling reminds me of old uncle Gildeas "Nads" Flowerbottom. He was an astronaut, you see, but most people remembered him for his pet pit fiend, Pitsey. Of course, it wasn't actually called 'Pitsey' because of its race, but rather because it had an unfortunate body odour problem. In any event, one day Pitsey and old Gildeas, or "Nads" as we called him after a particularly cold swimming lesson..." Anyway, you get the idea. |

Yes, after travelling with old Jan - or 'Lawn Ornament' as we called him after an embarressing evening with a dryad and a groundhog - one does start to sound a bit like him. In fact, this reminds me of the time we came across a very strange pair of twin brothers. Shamis and Roger, I believe their names were. They had a nasty habit of speaking in unison, and it just so happened that poor Shamis had an undeveloped larynx. Every time they spoke, you couldn't make out what in blazes they were saying. Quite amusing at first, really, but then they had the tendency to get rather angry when nobody could understand them, causing them to smash furniture and such. So there we were, sharing a drink with the two in the Den of Seven Vales, when a nobleman, I believe his name was Angus Brumbleweed, walked in with his two courtesans...
