I was going to quote Opeth - Face of melinda but i doubt that anyone would get it. Does anyone listen to opeth?

So... on to my quote. I heard this song for the first time during a festival this summer, i had heard it before but never really listen to it, you know what i mean. I was Soo wasted and sat on a camping chair with a boombox (that is what the kids call it right?) in my lap and played this song over and over. I think i listened to it about 30 times. My friends who where sleeping in the tents behind me were not happy

Take me out tonight.
Because I want to see people and i want to see lights.
Driving in your car.
Please don't drop me home because its not my home, its their home and I'm welcome no more.

And if a double decker bus crashes in to us, to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die.
And if a ten ton truck kills the both of us, to die by your side, well the pleasure the privilege is mine.
OK... its been nine days... So much for the genre change
That was "The Smiths - There is a light that never goes out".

So its metal is it? well then.

Weighed upon a wider scale
Afraid to see what takes us down
Sing destruction, sing of unfullfillment
Search abandoned, let the blood be fevered
Ridden of the self provided things get easier
Ignite our minds and let's burn brighter now

How about that?

Damn, I don't know how I missed that one Bjorn. It doesn't get much easier than The Smiths. The Queen is Dead is an alltime favorite...

Well since Dplax is away (he gets back tonight or something) Il explain.

Basically there are some qoutes from songs on the go (look up to see them)

If you know the song you guess it in thread, and if you are right then you get to take over that colour and post another qoute. You must guess the name of the song and the band name.

Oh and for everyone else, BUMP!

New Light Blue:

Sorry girl but you missed out
Well tough luck that boy's mine now
We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends

Anyway, doesn't ANYONE get my yellow quote? I think Groj might... I'll post another one if no one gets it...

Well, lookee there. I was about to think no one listened to anything I did. But, then I toss one slow ball and *BAM* Mel knocks it outta the park.

Your turn on blue, Mel. And, forgive the baseball analogy.

Anyway, doesn't ANYONE get my yellow quote? I think Groj might... I'll post another one if no one gets it...
Personally, Mel, I never know your quotes...I don't listen to much European music, though, and my taste is becoming more and more of a rarity...

Well, that would have been an excuse if I only posted quotes from European bands, but I don't. I also quote from a wide range of genres. So it must be your taste, indeed - mine is impeccable

Anyway.

The yellow quote was from Recoil (project of ex-Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder), the song is called Breath Control. And BTW, I recommend Recoil to all the people here who apparently don't know it...

Ah well, I'll make these deader-than-dead easy then. Basically gonna give the whole yellow song lyric except for when the title is named.

Here's the new yellow quote:

Coming up beyond belief
On this coronary thief
More than just a leitmotif
More chaotic, no relief
I'll describe the way I feel
Weeping wounds that never heal
Can the savior be for real
Or are you just my seventh seal?

No hesitation, no delay
You come on just like [song title]
Now you're back with dope demand
I'm on sinking sand
Gravity
No escaping gravity
Gravity
No escaping... not for free
I fall down... hit the ground
Make a heavy sound
Every time you seem to come around

And here's a new light blue one:

And although it’s always crowded,
You still can find some room.
Where broken hearted lovers
Do cry away their gloom.

You make me so lonely baby,
I get so lonely,
I get so lonely I could die.

Well, the bell hop’s tears keep flowin’,
And the desk clerk’s dressed in black.
Well they been so long on lonely street
They ain’t ever gonna look back.

If this isn't easy enough I just... give up.
