Doesn't the book/magazine you're reading get wet? Holding it up must get very uncomfortable after a while.
Not really, it's the same as reading in bed. I lay on my back, a few pillows under my head, and i let the book rest on my chest. In the tub, i have some kind of rubber pillow, except here i can't let the book rest on my chest, i have to hold it up a little, otherwise it would get wet, but i have no problems with that.

Btw, i found out this week that my new appartment doesn't have a bath, just a shower. That's gonna be the first time in my life i'm not gonna be able to take a bath, just a quick shower. I can't tell you how much i hate that. No more reading in the bathroom.

actually, it is quite comfortable, I read while in the bath too, and as long as you keep it level, and keep your arms resting on the side, it does not get tiring. as for getting wet, it happens, but not alot

Just a technical question Jerr.

In a public bathroom after you have finished do you need to call for help? if so aint that a worry?

What a question philip! I'd try that if I had a cheap book I am willing to ruin.

I don't. I am in and out fast. Not to mention that I appreciate the feeling... it's that concentration thing... bah anyway that's too much info already!

Actually, you know what? I read in the tub too, so I suppose my answer has to go to yes, on a technicality. Nothing more relaxing than a nice long bath, some candles, and a good book.

Yes, last year around this time. I'm forced to move though, the house is up for sale. Long story, and football is coming up. I'll explain some other time.

It's not that it actually takes 20 minutes to go - it's the reading that keeps you there for that time, not the, uh, business.
