Evil Dead was great... it was funny as hell... except that part where the main man's GF became that crazy girl who acted like a kid... that all freaked us out.

The Ring Hollywood version isn't really scary... the Japanese is. The Japanese version will surely make you paranoid about your TVs...

I thought Poltergeist was scary as hell first time I saw it. I also thought Ring was scary but voted for Poltergeist (other)

oh yeah Salem's Lot was way scary. I had a friend who leaned out his window and tapped on his brothers window with his hockey stick after they watched that movie.

I better go back and watch the Shining again, I thought it was pretty good compared to most of the others. The exorcist of course certainly was a good one too
