Thanks for your replies
Isn't it good, though, that with our very different backgrounds and beliefs we all have the same principles and standards and the same desire to see other people happy and the environment cared for?
That seems to be the base-line for everything, so it doesn't really matter how we got there
I'd still like to believe in something beyond this life, though. But I want to be able to enjoy 'after'-life on this wonderful planet as well as go explore the universe.
Sheesh! I'm just greedy, lol!
I'm really pleased to know you girls, even if it is 'virtually'.

Fljotsdale,
You are very welcome!

It is a god thing I am glad to know the both of you myself!

Saz, thank you for your input!

Love, Hugs & Peace,
Moni

I haven't made up my mind about reincarnation; in my religion, there are some references to people being reborn, but there's also references to people =not= being reborn. So I'll put it down as a possibility.

Me, though, I'm more interested in the =why= of reincarnation. Are we supposed to come back life after life until we've gotten off the Wheel, as is proposed in Buddhism? To evolve spiritually?

Or maybe we reincarnate -- using reincarnation as a given, here -- because, well... that's what we do. No higher purpose than that. Just get born, live, die, get born, live, die.

I've met some people who find that idea terrifying, for some reason.

*Wolfie snatches pillow of whomping running around, shaking it wildly, spraying feathers all waround on everybody!!*

Huffing, puffing and also sneezingly, he buffs people around alittle to get a treal friendly pillow-fight started!

*Handing out pillows of nonharmful whopping to everyone*

Well, this topic is interesting, mostly cause people are getting to one point 'whacks Lord shield alittle with pillow * That no matter of your own beliefs or religions, you come to one decision.: To treat people with respect and also have a higher humanitarian goal than the believes that are written down in books. You have started to quote the bible and yet you don´t blindly believ in it. Using your own mind and brain.. What more could anyone ask for? This is fun to see people getting along due differencies!

*Whacks himslef with pillow and runs howling along to another place to start the friendly-pillow-fight!*

HoOOoOooOoOWL! hehe, yp thats right, booring at work today!!
