LOL! At least you managed to get get it home! Happy New Microwave, LZ! I am using a tiny one I had bought to use at work several years ago (no place to put it now in the new offices). Our big one just went 'POP' one day and everything went blank on the screen. Methinks it blew it's power source or something. It had been drawing power unevenly for a few days before it croaked on us.

Snow...yuk! We may only get a few inches where I am, but south and east of us (down your way and out to Boston) they are expecting a Nor'easter, with up to a foot of snow in the NYC and Boston areas!

Wow, ok question.

When you reopen a scar,is it supposed to bleed for a long time?

Oh well cool then Cloudy, glad yall won't get a lot of snow from this system. I'm hoping we don't get that much either, but no tellin, the newspeople, as usual, are all puffed up about it LOL.

You have odd dreams Mack Attack LOL. I won't be making any snowmen tomorrow, but I will have to shovel our walkway and around my car, will be home alone all day, wah.

Oh and I got an Emerson microwave. Just cause we've had an Emerson mic at my work for 15 years and it still works just fine. The one that died was a Sharp btw. So hopefully this new one will last more than two measily years LOL. Funny, it has all these extra buttons, they always crack me up. Like "chicken". Ok what kind of chicken, cooked leftovers or raw chicken? How does it know LOL? Then there is one I see called "dinner plate" rotfl. How do they know what's on the dinner plate, I'm assuming it's another leftover thing. Then there is one that says Milk. Milk? I dunno I'm guessing baby bottle milk? Cause I don't know many who actually heat up milk to drink LOL. Barf. Then of course you got yer Popcorn button, many have that one, but each popcorn box you buy has different times, so I'd never rely on this suspicious Popcorn button LOL. Let's see, we got a Potato and Pizza button, again how does it know if its a raw potato or a frozen one, and each frozen pizza is different re times. Oh and last, but not least, is the button that says Beverage. Hmmmm... beverage eh? Talk about vague LOL. I'm not even going to guess at that one LOL.

Either way I'm just going to use the time/number buttons and ignore those other silly ones as I always do with microwaves. I just found it amusing the new extra feature buttons with this new nuker. Oh and it's 1000 watts and was $69.99, so not bad price-wise really. The cheaper ones were really small and some had no turnplate.

DrowArchMage - You should never reopen a scar or a scab, let it heal! Your body knows what to do on its own, just give it time. Is it still bleeding?

It was an accident.

I was working on a project, ya know, a little something for my girlfriend, a rose, made from wood, it has taken me almost two weeks and i'm almost done. It looks wonderful!(been working with wood most my life)Then i get bumped and slice my finger, over an old scar, with the tool i was using.

No, its not bleeding anymore, i wrapped it and whatnot so it should be fine.

Well how long have you had that scar? Sometimes scars can be thinner skinwise, depends on the scar really. I mean some people get scars that are depressions, and some scars are the raised skin kind.

Either way glad it's not bleeding anymore. Put some Peroxide on it or Neosporin so it doesn't get infected!

Your gift for your girlfriend sounds lovely, and so romantic, that you would work so hard on something like that. Awwww, you are a sweetie DrowArchMage, I hope your gal appreciates all the effort, and injury LOL, you have put into it.

DrowArchmage, it sounds like a really thoughtful gift! Take care of that cut, though.

LOL, LZ, I use our 'popcorn' button on my microwave all the time, but we usually hit the 'add 30 seconds' button on it a few times for the bigger bags of popcorn. but 'milk'? Uh, not really sure about that one! We have 'plate' or something like it for a plate of leftovers but no 'beverage' button. Hmm, my microwave is beverage and milk deficient!

So, uh, what happens if you have chicken on the dinner plate? Do you have to push both buttons? As for the beverage button, I'll turn my coffee pot off after a couple of hours, and may decide later to have a cup, and throw it in the microwave to warm up...

Drow Archmage loves her so much, he's putting his own sweat and blood into it... oh, waitaminnit. That was for a different ritual

I'm impressed, amigo. Just don't let my wife hear about that, or I'm going to be stuck. Even more than usual.

I use our popcorn button all the time, but I routinely give it another 1:30. Why? Because you're supposed to let it go until the popping slows to two seconds or more between pops... and ours stops right in the middle of an extended drumroll. Way too quick...

Just got to make sure to catch it, or else it will burn... and that *is* one of the nastiest smells out there
