Hey all. Finally back to work after a week off. And my mouth is still a little sore. But way better then 4 or 5 days ago.

I talked to my dad yesterday and I guess grandma needs to go into a home. He sounded a little bummed about it. My grandma does have alashimer(have no clue on spelling). She is getting to the point where she is going to hurt her self. And my Grandpa's doctor said that it would also be best for him to get her into a home. He is starting to run himself down. So my dad made a trip to see Grandpa and Grandma. And help out with anything.

Well over and out for know. Need to get my coffee cup filled up.

Hey Mack! Sorry to hear about your grandma having to go to the home, but I can sympathize. My stepmom's mother was living with them after they discovered she had alzheimers but it was increasingly hard on both my dad and my my stepmom as the disease took more and more of a toll on her mom. Finally, despite all the family objecting (the ones who didn't help AT ALL, mind you and lived in other places...) my folks did have to put her in a home, for her health and theirs. They weren't sleeping because they'd find her wandering outside at night, she wasn't taking her medications and things were rough for everyone. So I wish your grandma and your family all the best in a tough situation!

Glad the whole wisdom teeth thing is getting better for you!

Sad thing here... we just heard that a freshman student committed suicide yesterday.

Sorry to hear that cloudy. Hearing about sucide is always a hard thing. To bad they could not find some outlet for help.

Alzheimers is such a bad thing. You actually lose that person twice. I am trying to get my dad to talk with his brothers. And if need be try to get a support group for all of them. But I have my doubts if it will happen.

More sad news, our kitty died at the vet's this morning, while they were trying to rehydrate him.

Sigh.. and I was hoping for a little sunshine today.

Sorry Cloudy. Kittens are cute and adorable, letting go is hard.

*silent prayer for kitty*

Sorry to hear that, Cloudy. It's never easy.

Mack, good news on the toast. One piece of wisdom (pardon the pun) - stay away from chewing gum for a while.

Glad to be home tonight. The 3-1/2 hour drive from Chicago took 5 tonight... many people were spinning out because they forgot basic laws of physics. One managed to stop themselves against the support poles for a bridge... saw the ambulance heading there. Hope they were okay.
