actually helm is the god of law and duty. mystra was breaking the law (no spoils there) so helm killed her out of duty (was sad in doing it as well as warning her 3 times not to break the law)

[/QUOTE]AO caste the gods down because the Tablets of Fate were stolen. He told them that they couldn't come back until they found and returned these tablets. Mystra then tried to climb the celistial stairway that Helm was guarding. Hlem told her that she couldn't go further do do so would break the law that AO passed. She was persistant. Helm killed her.
