Morning all. [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img] Just got back from the DMV - got a shiny new IL license. Of course it took 1.5 hours. Can you say red tape?

As for the big world of lawyerdom, I just finished an in-depth memo yesterday that will tell our clients they are facing (worst-case) $425 million in penalties for failure to report ONE hazardous chemical (ammonia) at their facility for the past 15 years. Sheesh. But, I also explain how if my arguments work, they will only face $35-50 K.

That still seems a lot for failing to file some papers, especially since they discovered and are going to correct the violation themselves. Oh well, it certainly makes me worth my hourly rate.

Oh, and yes I do love the "whackya" smiley. I just need someone to hit. OK, howsabout the IL DMV.
