She may be a nobody now, but she wasn't exactly a nobody when she was protesting the war. And he didn't exactly wait around for years for his chance to "get 'er" He saw an oppurtunity and took advantage of it. As much as I dislike Hanoi Jane I think she did show a remarkable amount of class.

Class? Jane Fonda? Somehow that word just doesn't seem right when talking about her. Ass, yes. Class, no.

This is semi-relevent, an interesting comparison of how Vietnam and America look back on the war so differently. And it has baccy-spitting too..

I have read that name elsewhere, but it was also used as a AKA. I'm not sure what the BLUF is on that.
Here, a military sniper does not go incognito by name or handle. But there are agencies that do and allow for it. Not sure why JTF2 would be so secure in that matter.
Not sure about this court martial thing either. In my experience, a Chaplin would directly address the person or group that would speak like that in their presence. Religous folks, cover your eyes, a Chaplin is still a occupation in the military, not all are true Holy, and Cloth people, they fill a slot by Officer Career Management, and if Infantry is not available, but Chaplin is, you know the deal.'nuff said'.

I would like to buy the trigger a beer, or scotch, and call it a helluva accomplishment!

Its pretty damn incredible. I just can't even imagine shooting a bullet over such a long distance. If his aim was off by a fraction it would miss by metres. And what about the wind? The mind boggles.
