Or a not-so-spooked Israeli...

Or a Beardless Taliban....

Or a Canadian Province That Has the Death Penalty....

Or a sober Irishman

ROTFLMAAAO!

I'm sure they would have seen the funny side of being called cowards if they were still around.

We have a group of well informed Americans on IW. We call them Canadians!

Just a joke of course, I'm sure you'll get the joke.

Donut, that's the most profound thing I've heard you say.

Well if things don't change they stay as they are!

They ran away, of course!

Thanks for the laugh, guys -- that was a very enjoyable tit-for-tat.

Promethius, I suggest your read the rules posted at the top of this board. Country-bashing is considered a faux pas here, and it's taken pretty seriously. Of course, it's hard not to make the jokes, with the perceptions that are so common in the US -- in fact, I don't think Jay Leno ever goes a whole week without at least 2 French coward jokes. And, it always gets a good laugh -- proving Pavlov's theories over and over again.

And, Donut, if things change, it just won't be the same.

Could we try:

No matter how much or what changes, somehow everything remains the same.
