Had to participate in a technical audit of the plant we have there - same reason I managed to see Jamaica and meet Donut at Highbury last May ![]()

Wow, some people are well travelled! I've been to Christchurch. Which is around 1000kilometers away from my home! It took forever to get there.

I forgot......Yugoslavia (when it *was* Yugoslavia) both Novograd and Belgrad, in the good ol' communist days. Now *that* was a really strange trip! The shops were nearly empty, no 'luxury' items to be found anywhere, even in the parks the kids were subdued and not running around noisy like you'd think. People didn't make eye contact and if they did, it was furtive. But the food was great and once you got the locals to open up (behind closed doors), they were so friendly and neat! I seriously doubt if I'd recognize the place now, tho.

Oooh, now this is a fun thread!
I suppose I fall somewhere in the middle - I love travelling, but alas don't have the time or money to do as much as I would like (also I have a parrot - they really miss you when you go away, so I have to plan travel carefully). I am English, so in England: London (where I live) Guildford (where I grew up) Loads and loads of other cities, too many to list Scotland: Ayr Glasgow Stirling Wales Newport Cardiff Rhondda Valley Caernarvon Aberystwyth Criccieth France Paris Laon Germany Passau Austria Wien (Vienna) Belgium Brugge (Bruges) Hungary Budapest Czech Republic Praha (Prague) Slovenia Lake Bohinj Lake Bled Postonja (sp?) Italy Venezia (Venice) Verona Romania Cluj Napoca Sighisoara Sibiu Alba Iulia + other places in S Transylvania Greece Athens Crete (Hania, Iraklion) Rhodes Kos Nissiros Turkey Istanbul Egypt Cairo Aswan Luxor

Ok, I am bound to miss of a few. I live in England, and I think I have visited every major English city, also the major Scottish cities, as well as the welsh. I've also visited most of France's major cities. I've visited around 2/3 cities in most of the other countries, so I aint gonna bother listing them!
Wales Scotland France Germany Holland Belgium Luxembourg Italy Austria Switzerland Thailand Phuket Barbados Dominican Republic Antigua Martinuque St. Kitts Tortola St. Maartin Tunisia Turkey Tenerife Spain I guarantee you I have missed quite a few off! I dont think thats bad for a 17 yr old! [ 02-08-2002: Message edited by: Lavindathar ] [ 02-08-2002: Message edited by: Lavindathar ]
