Jim Carrey: Saemon Havarian or Gaelen Bayle(jsut drop the accent)
Sarah Michelle Geller: Arie (couldn't think of anyone else.)
Aran Linvail: Pierce Brosnin (maybe)

Nalia should be played by Drew Barimore(sp?).They are practically identical!!!

Irenicus: John Malcovich (but then again, he could do an excellent job with ANY bad guy)
Viconia: Catherine Zeta - Jones
Keldorn: Sean Connery
Valygar: Chris Rock (JUST KIDDING, but it would be funny, wouldn't it? "You want me to cast a mother(beep)in' magic spell? You want ME to cast a mother(beep)in' MAGIC SPELL? This (beep) ain't gonna cast no mother(beep)in' magic spell, so y'all can just kiss my mother(beep)in' (beep)!")
Anomen: Dennis Miller (the perfect choice for an annoying, stuck - up SOB)
Edwin: Rusell Crowe (it would be cool to see him try to do evil)
Yoshimo: Jackie Chan (same reason as above)

That's all I can think of right now. I thought up a ton of others, but I'm drawing a blank here. BG2 would make an awesome movie, given a few conditions:
1)It was a 4 - part movie (1st movie would be the dungeon and Athkatla starting point, as well as the stronghold quests for the protagonist. The end of it would be the group sailing off towards Spellhold. 2nd movie would be Spellhold and the Underdark, as well as the final battle with Irenicus. 3rd would be the recovery and the battle with Bodhi, Suldanesselar, and the battle with Irenicus. The 4th and final one would be ToB.)
2)It was NOTHING LIKE the movie Dungeons & Dragons!
3)They got a decent director, producer, etc. as well as a damn good staff for casting
4)It had good special effects
5)The actresses, in addition to having good looks, would also have to have talent (namely Imoen)

If they made the movie with those conditions, it would probably be one of the best movies ever made. Hell, if I were rich enough I'd FUND the thing for every penny!

I think that ToB will give a nice movie...Or better movies. Just like had been told before.
And lord of the rings are a very good movie. But I guess that if they had creat the hobbit movie before, it will be better.

But I think that Kevin Spacey would be a better Irenicus than Malkovich. If he wasn't too tall, I'd suggest him to play Jan.
