Kids can be mean sometimes, but adults are worse. To me, it sounds as if the parents of these children could use a few lessons in manners and humanity.

Ah well....what goes around, comes around, right?

I sent a card to Marc....better late than never, right? Hope his birthday turned out better than expected because of all the good thoughts and good tidings coming from this group!

Birthday List!!!?!???!

I have never heard of such a thing. Where do I find it?

BTW, I sent him an email and I hope he has a good b-day none the less.

I agree. I assume that the parents didn't bother to let you know that their child would not be attending the party.

Marc will be getting another e-card from me. I hope he enjoys all the email and cards, and has a great birthday.

Sorry Milamber, It's a list/network I started up on the old Board, and I have asked people to join in posts both on the new and the old Forum.
It means the people in the list send each other a card on their birthday....not an e-card, but a real one, through the mail. It's been great so far and it seems to work pretty well, for I believe most people are faithfully sending cards to each memeber. I did stop taking in new members a while ago though, because I'd asked often enough and it wouldn't be fair to the people who have already had their birthday and then would have to send a load of new people cards. If you are really desperate to join though, send me an email
