You should be able to enter a location by clicking on the triangle. Make sure to click inside it and should work. If you've already visited a location once, a map of it should appear when you try to enter it again.

And yep, small guns is probably the best skill to tag as so many weapons in the game uses it.

I like Small Guns when using a party. I like to visualise my character... slowly drawing out his Sniper Rifle as the target runs screaming away from him; then I smile as the poor sap is in my sights and I pull the trigger. Such joy! Such jubilation! As the target screams hysterically from pain and the knowledge of impending doom. The realisation of a dark end as he desperately tries to crawl away from you with his busted knees. The muffled cries as your whole party surround him and kick him to death.

Yes, it is only a game, but sometimes I think the game developers were catering to those with a twisted mind. Of course... the same can be said of The Sims. Innocents may not want to know what I did with my Sims.

Yeah, small guns rule. Combat shotgun, fast shot trait and sniper perk, with 9-10 luck... by far cooler than them sniper rifles

While the Combat Shotgun can deal more damage, the Sniper Rifle is the longest ranged weapon in the game and excels at aimed shots, especially with the appropriately named Sniper perk. Much more acccurate too.

Of course... there is the-

- Guass Rifle, but the range is not as long, and the ammunition is a pain to get (whether through buying or stealing).

Although with 12 APs, Fast Shot, 10 AGI and the perk that reduces inventory access by 1 AP, one can shoot with the Bozar, switch to the Vindicator and shoot again, and finally access his/her inventory to reload and heal. This was the overkill combination I used with my soloist, along with Plasma Grenades and the Mega Power Fist (Slayer perk ), among other things like the Heavy Flamethrower... Ahhhh... nothing like driving into New Reno and burning everybody on a critical (Sniper perk + 10 Luck).

It's about what's cooler, not what's more effective then again, it's maybe even cooler to use the regular shotgun than the combat one... taking out one of them mafia families with a shotgun and magnum w/speed loader ^^

Bah, shotgun this and shotgun that. My favourite is a certain energy weapon that you can only get by doing a certain quest. It shoots out jolts of electricity that incinerates the enemies.

Still, by far, except for the bozar, my favorite Fallout 2 weapon is that modified huntingrifle, modified to a pistol. The one with the big bang, with the massive damage, the one that splatters enemies

That would be the .233 Pistol, which is also my favourite pistol. Goes well with the Sniper Rifle, since both use the same ammunition. One for close range, the other for EXTREME long range.
