I'm not discussing Western-Eastern RPG's romance amount. I'm talking about BG2. If there's any RPG game game that you can compare with Baldur's Gate 2 (about romance) please specify. It's most detailed and wide one. And I like to notify that I enjoy eastern RPG's too such as shining force and phantasy star.

well...it should be my bad writing then...my point is that SoA does the romance thing better than any game in existance, eastern or western although romance is an almost required component of eastern RPGs.

Hell yes, I do. Which is why I honestly wonder why anyone would play such a horrible one as FF7 or 8.

how about having characters like Sephiroth? you complain about him. which mean to you it's not okay to complain about difficult languages but it's okay to complain about " sucks " character. sheshh!
Yes, it is okay to complain about moronic characters and simplistic dialogue. I am not going to care about a game where I can't even hate the villian for anything tangible. The reason I hate him is that he is so incredibly shallow, and boring, and is still more popular than all the video gaming characters that made games what they are today. In game, I really cold care less. Big whoop, he killed Aeris. I almost, ALMOST cared for her as a character. I was just dissapointed they decided to kill off my best spell-caster, was all.

Well, in many games Beoulve, game makers do tend to get rid of a good spell caster (even in Grandia they did).

People have to give FF7 a chance before they really start to like it, yea it was slow in some parts but don't forget it was the first RPG on playstation to go to such an extent in graphics and gameplay so maybe you're looking at it's "older" qualities. I personally loved the game, and I thought Sephiroth made an awesome bad guy. I wouldn't say he's boring though, bringing a big meteor down to destroy everything involved a lot

Diablo II is not an RPG nor will it ever be, it is hack'n'slash, pure and simple.

I also think it's ironic that Baron Night got his wish for people to call it an RPG when they were saying it's the worse they'd ever played

welcome to the club Beoulve, as you can see. there's no perfect game out there yet. with all these complains. hope the developer will see it and make future games better.
