Grin Of Krishach:
"Long ago, a Holy Priestess sent her three most beloved sons into battle with boxes of magic around their necks to fight the dragon Krishach, breathing fire and poison. Krishach slew the three and the magic boxes opened up, capturing their souls. Long after the great dragon's death, its spirit was used by the Kenkari elves, care-takers of the dead royal elves' spirits in the great Aviary located in the Cathedral of the Albedo, to help a poweful human mage in an important quest that affected all beings. The dragon was a creature of cloud and of shadow; insubstantial, yet granted a terrible substance. Its flesh was a pale, translucent white, the white of a long-dead corpse. The dragon's skeleton was visible through the flaccid skin, which hung loosely over the bones. The eye sockets were empty, dark, except for a smoldering flame that gleamed bright one instant, then faded, then shone again, like dying embers being blown to life. One day, the Cathedral of the Albedo and all the surrounding lands were shaken by an unnatural earthquake, which was tied to the powerful human mage completing his quest, shattering the precious Aviary and releasing all the souls of the elves. The Grin Of Krishach, a giant two-handed sword, is a cruel curving blade with a serated double-edge. It is said the Keeper of the Souls cast one spell before all was lost, capturing the great dragon's spirit and those of the three sons into what coalesced as a sword, the shape of one of Krishach's long jagged teeth. The sword seems to contain a fire that bursts alflame when elves are near." Yea, too bad I don't know much about the info of weapons to give stats for it. It'd have something like triple damage vs. elves, double vs. half-elves, also some kind of fire damage and poison damage, and I guess like a +4 enchantment or such. Also a few spells would be nifty on it, like that Wing Buffet thing dragons have, maybe some fire spell, but I don't know much about the spells since I'm not too far into BG2. Maybe someone could help me out, and then get it made or such. It'd be neat if you could find the boxes containing the spirits and a dragon's tooth and have them forged into the sword. Anyway, help me out some with the stats? Heh. [ 03-10-2002: Message edited by: Krishach ]

Well, I have made a nice item; a hat for wizards. The only problem with it is that there are no animations for (pointy) hats in the game
![]() I was wondering if any of you have experiance in making such animations? If so, can you do a hat for me (like Elminster's, but gray, or some other nice color), and I can post the hats stats here. |

Here's one I just thought of:
FIRE & LIGHTNING On their own these axes appear to be normal battle axes but when both are weilded simultaneously in the hands of the same person in battle they exibit extraordinary combat effects. When in battle these axes will give of an aura of flames and electricity which will cause extreme damage against any foe of the weilder whom they strike. These axes also act as a superb way of protecting oneself from the damage of other weapons, any weapon that is directed against the weilder of fire and lightning will seem to be attracted toward the axe blades instead of the body of the user thus helping the user escape harm. STATISTICS : Special abilaties: (when used on their own)- none (when both axes dual weilded) -user recieves AC bonus of +3 -User recieves 30% fire and electricity(both normal and magical) resistance Damage : (on their own)- 1d8+1 (when both axes are dual weilded)- 2d8+4 plus and additional 8 points of fire and electricity damage unless victim succeeds a save vs spell(in which case victims recieve only 2 points of fire and electricity damage. THACO : (on their own)- +1 (when both axes are dual weilded)- +3 Speed factor : 1 Damage type : slashing Proficiency : axe Usable by : Warrior classes only, fighters, paladins, rangers and barbarians (multi and dual classes also)

Well Dakkon.....
I've had a bit of a thought about the Ring of Absolute Immunity.... I ended up downloading IEEP and Shadowkeeper and having a fiddle around, Sofar i've altered a Greenstone Amulet to give all its immunities while equipped instead of just for 1 turn per charge,(which works) and to relect gaze attacks (which I haven't tested yet)so if it works i'll add immunity to level drain and AC penalty and make a ring out of it (give all the attributes to a ring) and if you want, i can email the thing to you to include with your store. |

Robe of the Super Magi
This magical robe was the foundation of the Robe of Vecna and such. It's super powers where thought to have come from the gods as a gift to whoever wears it. The robe has a silky look to it, although it feels much rougher than silk. You are certain that no human was ever meant to use this powerful robe. Statistics: AC Bonus:30 +1 to Dexterity Spell Casting Time Reduced By: 10 Special: Extra 3 spells for each level. Usable By: Mages (sinlge, dual, multi) |

I just wanted to say a couple things really quick.
First and most importantly, I thank you all again for your posts, ideas, and what seems to be a lot of interest in this topic... you are making my job a lot easier, believe me. To those that helped me in my other post, with the scripting questions and everything, thank you very much, they turned out to help me actually. Jalerho should be up and running soon, as said there are a couple complications, but it's nothing big. Another reason for this post, was to say that if anyone has made a cool weapon before or something, like we're doing here, or has an idea of their own and doesn't want to wait for me, who can make them, feel free to offer them up and contribute your own to this work in progress. I'm not looking to take total credit, and honestly I wouldn't, because I know most of these are you guys's ideas in the first place. I'm taking down the ones I like, and I think I'll list some of the ones that I *know* will be in the mod. (Oh yeah, and thanks to those who've e-mailed me and things) Jalerho's Nexus Crossing (Still toying with names) - The Silencer +2 The Ballista +5 RiftSword +4 Dagger of Venom +2 Ring of Spell Storing Ring of Disease (If you guys want it there, up to you) Those are just a few of the dozen and a half weapons I've probably been working on and toying around with, not really having too much trouble with them, just trying ideas and seeing how it affects the game and such. I was working, as I said before, on an Armor that Poisons whoever touches it, and another set of armor that confers +200% protection from Fire and MagicFire (Which, if you don't know what that does, any kind of protection over 100% heals the person who gets hit. So like, 200% protection from fire would make you get healed for the full amount instead of taking any damage, or even a fraction of that damage.), and also enables you to turn into a Fire Elemental at will. It's a pretty nifty idea I thought, but I ran into a problem with the Fire Elemental Part, not realizing that Fire Elementals are so horribly weak in Stats, (9 Str, 9 Con, 9 Dex), which made encumberance an issue. I'll just implement another snippet of code that makes it so you get Fire Giant Strength (22) when you use that ability. That ability would be usable once per day, and for like a turn I guess. (Though I got a strange reaction to the duration too... which I'll have to look into.) The Robe of the Super Magi, which I've seen posted all over these forums these days, ![]() A ring or something that gives you an ability of casting StoneSkin and Mirror Image is a very cool idea by the way... since I happen to be a big fan of that combination myself... and it gives you so many extra rounds to cast whatever you want. I might use the idea of Sebastian's ring, or I might call it the something along the lines of the Mage's Life Saver. My brother had an idea about the Wing Buffet thing too, though I think what he wanted to do was have some item that casted Wing Buffet. Any items that make it into the collection will be double-checked by me for grammatical errors, errors in gameplay, and also general cosmology compared to everything else in the game. For those who want to make items too... What I mainly do is work from example. In my head, for instance, I have a good map of most of the items and spells in the game... having played it so many times. So if I want to know how to make an item do something, I find an item in the game that does something like what I want it to do, or exactly what I want it to do. So like, if I wanted, for a simple example, to find out how to poison someone with a weapon on each hit, I'd open up a weapon that did that... like the dagger of venom, or arrows of biting, or darts of wounding... something like that... and get it from there. I'm going to do some of that same "learning" from some of the custom mods at Teambg and come up with why Jalerho is being a crackhead when he sees me. I'll think on the Pipe of Elminster, I'll play with it a bit. The Long Horn and Long Bow I will look into, I might use those... what I want is variety, you see. I think the final list will be around 12-15 weapons, armor, and other various equipment. A ring or something of Spell Immunity might be interesting, where once per day, at the beginning of the day, you pick a Spell school you're immune to, and I'd make the duration like 8, 12, or 24 hours. Items that combine a couple of cool effects I'm looking for, like that Stoneskin and Mirror Image thing. My brother had an idea for a Pimpin' Cane, which came from the great pimp of Baldur's Gate, Pimpin' Kyle... who was turned into a vampire later on in life. What would happen is you could use this Quarterstaff or wand to summon like 3 vampire courtesans to fight on your side for like a turn lol. Good work Voltar on that amulet by the way... I always hated the Greenstone Amulet for it's charges... so I never used it. I honestly on rare occasions ever used charged items at all, aside from lots of potions and wands. I still am probably going to make a collection of Elemental Weapons and/or Armor, and also perhaps a few weapons that are against a certain type of creature or race... like two opposing weapons of two races that hate each other. I don't think there are any hat animations in the game Wedin, but you could use a spell animation that looks like it maybe, for whatever effect you're trying to create. What are the stats of that Hat?

Hellfyre & Brymstone:
"Hargon Belfor, a dwarf doomed to work at a monstrous forge deep in a hellish labyrinth for eternity due to deeds done in life, one day set out to break his curse and to destroy the one that put him there. Pouring in all his anger and using the hellish elements that surrounded him, he began forging two great war hammers: Hellfyre and Brymstone. Once forged, he wielded them and challenged the evil mage that had created the labyrinth and put the curse on him. Seconds later, the mage, using his control over his domain, since the hammers were of his land, smashed the hammers together into the dwarf and ended his existance. Feeling the power that resided in the hammers, the mage kept them in his quarters for safe-keeping, where a gnomish theif promptly stole them. The hammers' locations are unknown to this date, but it's been told that the mage, dead or alive, searches for them eternally." Ok, the story could probably use some work. The stats for Hellfyre would be something like like +2 bonus THAC0, +5 vs. evil, half the normal damage but a good amount of fire damage would be ideal. Brymstone would have Stone Skin charges, +3 bonus THAC0, +6 damage. When dual wielded, you get an extra attack, but there's a chance of going beserk and attacking anyone, since the mage still has slight control, but can't find them. They may be kinda powerful, but that makes it so if you do go beserk, you could mess your party up too. ![]() Anyway Dakkon, if you wanna use these War Hammers and the Two-Hander I posted earlier, get in touch with me to discuss the stats better, heh. ![]() [ 03-11-2002: Message edited by: Krishach ]

Dakkon have you seen my buckler idea ? I'm not pusshing my idea but imo that shield class has been overlooked so far by both the developers and the mod makers. I don't so much care if you use mine but are you planning on making one ?

What about a sword which reflects missile weapons?
Bastard Sword +2, The Reflector and there's also his brother, the deflector which deflects all missile attacks
