Hey Melusine! Do you have any favourite classical pieces?
I particularly like Tchaikovskys violin concerto, Rachmaninovs symphonie nr.2, Mozarts lacrimosa, Beethovens 5th,6th and 9th symphonie and one of his romanzas for violin (forget which one) and also Kreislers 'Allegro und praeludium'. That's to name a few! Any others? |

Melusine: Have you ever listened to Skinny Puppy? The sort of thing you might like, I think.

Valen - thanks mate!
Vicotnik: a few are: Mozart's Requiem, Mozart's Zauberflöte (known in English speaking countries as the Magic Flute?), Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Vivaldi's Quattro Stagioni (corny, but a classic - hey a pun), Orff's Carmina Burana and Catulli Carmina, Tchaikovsky's Pathétique, Rachmaninovs Vespers (my choirs new project for this season!), some of Bach's Orgelwerke etc etc etc |

Absynthe: No, but the name sounds familiar. Which bands in my list make you think I would like it?
Ertai: this week my choir is doing a piece called La Birondo which is in Catalan!!! Do you speak it? I think its a beautiful piece the composer is Manuel Oltra |

I forgot! I also LOVE Grieg!!!! His Peer Gynt Suite of course, but also his piano pieces are beautiful!
Hmmm I notice my classical taste includes quite a lot of 'modern' composers Cloudbringer, I also love Gregorian Chanting, and a capella singing in general |
