Certainly is, more so with any character that can cast spells though...

I'm not sure i agree that the archers should be able to dual class to a cleric... if you want a really good slinger cleric, dual from fighter. Sure, you wont get your called shots, but you can add those and any other bonuses you like with shadowkeeper.

@DundeeSlaytern: is this thread going to be locked, or shall we just continue discussing this? It may be from 2001, but it still a valid complaint/topic of discussion.

Cynically speaking, I find 'What is the best character' threads to be an exercise in futility, but yes, you may continue discussing in here.

This is not an endorsement for Thread Necromancy though. That is still very much a no-no.

I agree totally, i was refering more to the 'i cant dual my archer to a cleric!' part as being worth talking about.

As has been said on atleast 20 or so different threads, there is no best character.
