Okay...one other tip I just remembered. For those of you looking to "legitimately" train up your characters fairly early on, there's a very cool respawn site in New City...it's in the Forbidden Zone.

First, you need the card from the Savant Outpost on the east side of the city (not the one on the west; there's nothing on there). It's the one that reads "ETX:BYYR" and is the clue for getting into the Constabulary to free the Gorn Captain (Boerigard?)

After you enter the Forbidden Zone and clear out the Savant Troopers there, go to the door with the slit in it. "Use" the card there. This will set off an alarm, and scads of Troopers and Guards will swarm on you! Clear them out, and repeat the action. Your characters will quickly go up in levels.

Later on, of course, you'll find the "real" card to use there...the Control Card. But keep the other card handy to use for "training up" your group.

Later,
-Sazerac

My best training tip (got it from some veteran gamers at Gamers Forum: If you refuse to show your orders to the sergeant at the supply depot in the Umpani town (I can't recall the name of the town just now), he'll call for the guards who are quite a handful even for my imported party. So I start at 'easy' difficulty, and after making some levels I adjust to normal, then to hard. Of course this will only work before the town is destroyed, but you can repeat it as often as you like without the sergeant or anyone else in town turning hostile, and you'll even get some nasty spirit encounters (got most of my Gorror keys this way) while you're healing up in the hall.

Is there any confirmation of the rumor of the July 15 release date? I have a party of 5 felpurrs and a fairie parked in front of Dane Tower and I want to get them ready in time.

That is a great tip, Traute! I used the "Headquarters Unlimited Spawn" trick one time, but the downside is you'll never get the Thermal Pineapple that way. If the Supply Depot trick works, then that's great.

BTW, did anyone ever get behind the door at the Supply Depot, or was that just "window dressing"? Just curious. I could also never open the other two doors at the Firing range.

I really can't remember. I do recall that there was at least one door in that area I couldn't open, must have been those at the Firing range.
The supply depot trick can give up to 130k XP, BTW.
