Are you quite sure you're talking about Witch Hunter Robin? I don't mean to offend, but of all the anime I've seen, WHR seems like one of the most bland and uninteresting ones. The music wasn't remarkable, the characters were slightly under-developed and the climax was bad. There was an episode that had cool witch-purging pictures and some interesting dialogue about Robin's identity, but that too remained under-developed, in my opinion.

You should maybe watch Gungrave, which I think is a bit similar to WHR. And Hellsing. Definitely watch Hellsing.

But Hellsing had such a rushed ending. It was going good, and then it just "blah".

It wasn't even a good "WTF?" ending, like Eva or RahXephon, it was just "huh? What's the point?" I hear the manga's better, though.

Mine would be Fullmetal Alchemist, coming to Adult Swim in November. Watch that, it's without doubt one of the best animes I've ever seen, losing only to Gravitation for the re-watchableness.

Cowboy Bebop is so cool. Even though it's quite old, there are still some episodes I can watch over and over and still feel the same glee I did when I first saw them- Toys in the Attic, My Funny Valentine and La Peirroiut le Fou (spelling?), for example.

Wolf's Rain I enjoyed at the start, but then in the last four episodes it did another "Uh, what?" but with angst more than anything.

Yeah, the ending was kind of rushed. And yes, I've also heard that the manga is better but also that it's a lot different. Still, Hellsing was visually awesome, especially the first and the last(13-th) episode. Plus, the soundtrack had some really cool songs like Enter the Psycho and Incognito.

Cowboy Bebop is great! Yoko Kanno is probably the most famous anime music composer and rightfully so. By the way, don't forget Mushroom Samba.

Wolf's Rain was slightly dull at some parts, yes. I really like it when animes reference on where the show takes place though. Wolf's Rain takes place in Russia. Mostly Cyberia probably, which would explain the wolves and the extremely cold weather.

What a coincidene, I'm also currently watching Full Metal Alchemist. I'm exactly half way through the show(episode 26). Really nice show, definitely above average. While it seems like a pretty mainstream show, it's refreshing to see that the makers don't cut back on violence and some scenes have good shock value.

The thing I don't like about Full Metal Alchemist however is that it's a bit too emotionally expressive. The jokes are sometimes too loud and frequent(Edward's height jokes come to my mind) and the more dramatical scenes are slightly too.. dramatical(nothing as abysmal as what is seen in Hack//Sign though). And Winry. I really don't like Winry.

I'd recommend you to watch Samurai Champloo. It's directed by Shinichiro Watanabe(Creator of Cowboy Bebop) and it's probably the only anime I can relate to Cowboy Bebop, as it's almost as stylish.

Ok, I'll stop now. I got carried away. Sorry for the rant.

Ah, Fullmetal Alchemist- great. Love it. Absolutely HUGE in Japan, where it just finished running with 51 episodes. Thing with Fullmetal is that aside from Bones, it was virtually unknown- the manga author had never published anything before, the voice actors were relative n00bs (Paku Romi, Ed's VA, was in one episode of RahXephon. That's all I can remember her for), it was a relatively new concept- and really, really popular .

That's just it, though- to balance all the heavy angst and the small children being ripped to pieces and the sheer evilness of Envy, they needed to add some humour, so you got Hughes with his pictures of his daughter, Ed;s height (or lack of it) and Roy's miniskirts. The humour kinda vanishes in the second half of the series, though Izumi- episode 27 onwards- is awesome.

Manga!Winry is kickass. Anime Winry started off kickass, and around the 30s became annoying for me. Though she's not as bad as those two bloody Ishbal brats, Rick and Leo .

Also, sig! Azu Manga Daioh (sp?)!

*Full Metal Alchemist up to episode 26 spoilers!*

Hughes' daughter jokes were funny(especially the one before the Ed vs. colonel match ) but I'm really happy that he died before the jokes could've started annoying me.

I really love that this show sometimes shows a few very freaky images and scenes like Ed and Al's mother after the transmutation and that girl who was turned into a chimera(Mary? Maria?). Being able to make the viewer feel instant emotions is always a good thing.

Also, the alternative reality that was created is curious - the state alchemists' leader's title is Führer, they're in an English speaking country(everybody writes in English) and they play Shougo.

Oh yeah, Azumanga Daioh is great fun. The nonsense jokes are so funny, especially the ones with Osaka, Chiyo and Sakaki. A fun fact about this show is that in the Japanese version(I detest dubs ), the voice actor of Chiyo's imaginary father, who seldom appears in Sakaki and Osaka's dreams, is Vicious from Cowboy Bebop! I'd recognize that voice from anywhere now, as it has a cool 's' letter defect.

If you want a show that's similar to Azumanga Daioh but not 'cute,' look up Cromartie. It has Freddy Mercury in it!

Baby Blues wasn't cancelled. It's still on the weekend Adult Swim lineup. (For whoever was asking about that.)

I wish they'd rotate Cowboy Bebop and Trigun off. I really would. Put the rest of Lupin the Third on, maybe.

Oh, and Witch Hunter Robin wasn't cancelled. Many anime series released in Japan have 26 or 52 episodes, so that they show every week or every other week. Of course, there are going to be things like Inuyasha or Naruto or Detective Conan (Case Closed) that last for frikkin EVER. (Detective Conan's at 300+ episodes and counting.)

Watch Rurouni Kenshin if you get a chance. It's on Toonami (the daytime and child-safe version of Adult Swim) occasionally.

Actually, Inuyasha ends with a 166-167 episode special. The animatins were cool but the special sucked because nothing actually changed in the end. In fact, for the last damn 100 episodes or so, nothing truly important has actually happened to the characters of the show. I was actually watching the show to see results and a good climax, which never came.

Of course, they're doing a fourth and final movie but I doubt that anything interesting will happen in that either.

My favorites are Harvey Birdman and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

The ones they usually always play are Aqua Teen, Birdman, Futurama, Family Guy, & SeaLab 2021. They seem to rotate the anime shows. Witch Hunter Robin is supposed to be re-ran and on the 8th of Novemer, they will be replaying Wolf's Rain, which I caught a teeny-tiny part of and it was pretty cool.

EDIT: Cowboy Bebop is supposed to make the rotation soon too, if it's not already.
