Try them now... (Tell me where they are too, I forget) Level 10 lizardrealm? I DM dropped them in the desert, so no spawns there.

Couldn't even find them this time, but they were on lvl 11 before, deep south on the map. Shame really as I had to kill hordes of desert warriors et al to get there, poor psycho boys and girls...mwah ha ha...but ran all the way around lvl 10 & 11 and couldn't find them on either (maybe I should run slower, but I've gotta go make dinner for the kids).

Well, Sanura killed nearly the entire Desert population but, alas, the Nature Freaks were not on lvl 11. She travelled to level 10, had a short discussion with the Lizard King (he refused to give her the last key she needed for the full set) and then my game crashed for the 2nd time in an hour.

I had heard, however, that the Freaks were on lvl 10 but unkillable by Holy damage(and something else, can't remember.

Yup. They are on level 10 - at least for the moment.

And, despite Z's invitation to "try them now", I still can't lay a mace on them (mutters nasty words under breath).

This time I tried a crosssbow with fire bolts and slay living spell. Another failure to add to the list.

Are there any Druids out there who could talk to them?

I'll try to chop them again with Bumbis' scimitar if I go on later, see if Z's invitation holds for that at least. Will update after I give it a go.

I have found them several times by opening the trapped chests where the alarmed desert warrior guy is, even before the quest to kill them became popular. I think they may be similarly tagged with fire giants, as that's what the description says. I have also found them on lvl 10, where the fire giants live.

Same for me, that was why I was surprised this time when I couldn't find them. Anyway, went in again, found them on lvl 11 after looking fruitlessly on lvl 10 this time. Went for the time-honoured strategy of opening booby-trapped chests, worked this time round (yes, I had tried it last time I was in there but they didn't turn up, probably do it to be awkward).
Landed some hits, usual 'weapon ineffective', slapped them with improved knockdown - hit them with no problems at all - do they fall over? Do they hell.
Incessantly pestered by skeletons, horror zombies, desert warriors, scorpions, place is seething with all sorts who can't resist a fight when they hear it in the distance. All came running to join in. Those I have no problem with, they just irritated me as it took away from the main purpose - to beat a nature giant. Cleared the area again and back to the task in hand.
Got them with criticals, no effect; knockdown, no effect; even showed that I landed dev crit several times with no effect - that confused me, unless there were some small uglies I got but couldn't see under all of the foliage.
Not sure what you did Z, but hasn't made any difference to my efforts to build a nice cuckoo-clock with fresh wood.
Better luck to whoever tries next.
