I LOVE this game! I bought it for my daughter while visiting her in California recently and now she is hooked too. I bought her one because I want to keep mine since I am not quite finished with it, and like others, will play it over again - for the first time ever. I would definately buy a WW2 without any reservations. I don't care if it has bugs or same old same old monsters - I would buy it and reccommend it to anyone who asked for a good game to play. Please oh please oh please make another one. And even if you don't, thank you for making this game. I have gotten very much entertainment from it and have met a GREAT bunch of folks at this forum.

W+W is the second best RPG I ever played, second only to Might+Magic 6. But I would prefer to wait 2 years for an even better and somewhat improved WW2 than to witness the M+M syndrome happen again to one of my alltime-favorites. I bought M+M 7 and have been disappointed (same game, no improvements, less difficult = no satisfaction). And W+W does need some improvement, as all the great people here have pointed out before me.

So my personal wish: PLEASE bring out a WW2, but do not haste it, take your time and make it a real RPG-thriller that brings us players even more fun, excitement and pleasure than this one!

Greetings to all of you out there!

Oops - Lost my last reply! I too love this game - but had to get past some of the frustrations. I will certainly buy the next game in this series. Some suggestions:

1. I agree with those who want a clock/calendar.

2. The town portal/teleportation spells could use an overhaul. I feel I should be able to have a choice of two or three places to teleport to. (Check out Might and Magic series). I got really tired of having to trudge through Dragonspire, etc. to get from town to town when I had this spell. It was too limited.

3. When going into a guild with a finished quest, I would have liked all the characters who had finished it to get their experience points at same time rather than listening to the same spiel 4, 5 or 6 times.

4. When fighting several monsters, it often seemed like they did not take their turns.

5. BETTER MAPPING SYSTEM. I'd like to see the entire map of where I've been a dungeon. It was source of endless frustration trying to figure out where to go to get out when I'd already been that way. I don't seem to recall the same frustration with Might and Magic or the BG series.

My wish list cut from a new post I made.

If a Wizards & Warriors 2 was to be released I'd love for the game to have the following features.
1. Same look and feel as W&W.
2. A Full editor to create maps/items/npcs etc...
3. Single player game and Multiplayer game.
In the multiplayer game you would control one character only. Perhaps 16 or
more players could be online at once. The game would have a server/client
format. Of course player data would be stored on the server to prevent
hacking!
4. I was reading around and see there were a few great ideas that were scrapped
in W&W. I'd like to see them implemented in a W&W 2 game. They are:
A) Optional First or Third person view point.
B) Even in Single player you were supposed to be able to split your group
up.

Well, thats a quick layout of what I'd love to see implemented in a new version of W&W. PLEASE post any of your ideas or thoughts on this. I know it may never happen, but W&W was so much fun, I cant be the only person who feels this way. I'd love to see a bigger sequal!

Perhaps we can start a petition or something to let D.W Bradley know W&W was alot of fun and there are alot of us who still enjoy it. Perhaps if he sees there is a call for it, he may create a W&W 2 or a patch with the features that were originally supposed to be in W&W 1, but scrapped by Activision or the developers.

I love this game too...would be thrilled to buy a sequel...my wishlist for a second one...allows you to get the experience and advancement for a guild quest even if you do it out of order, more classes that you can ascend too...make the guild ranks go up to 20...and allow you an automatic max on the hit points when you move up a level (like in baldurs gate). Games like this are great!

Sorry, I missed this post everyone. Here I am signing my name to this petition. This has been a great experience to play this game and share it with people all around the world. We all wonder what will happen for a Wizards and Warriors II. Knowing that people with great minds are on this ,I will close by saying that this,to me, will never have been a waste of my time.

Wizards and warriors was and still is a fun and exciting game to play. and if w&w2 is remotely close to the original, i would deffinatly buy it with no hesitation. i would probably pre order it. wish list:
1.) less buggy interface
2.) longer, more challenging monsters, and more quests
3.) multiplayer would be fun and interesting
4.) LESS DAMN BATS those are just annoying
5.) mantraps or other extremely hard monsters should not be engaged so early in the game
6.) finally maybe being able to explore the city and not just walking into the shops

i hope the consider making a sequel!!!

I'm putting my name on this because, well, W&W is an amazing game that really should have a sequel. This game doesn't really need that much in the way of change. There is one major thing that I gripe about, all of the bugs and glitches! Other than that, there isn't really too much that I would want changed.

I'm a newbie CRPG'r, and got instantly hooked on W&W! I was playing Heroes/M&M which is strictly turn based, and hence, less anxiety as experienced with M&M, and Warcraft, etc. I am totally converted by this game! I simply love the game play including the turn based combat, for reasons which should be obvious. There are numerous good ideas on this and other threads from this forum of intelligent and good natured people. I bought a second copy of this game for a friend while I was playing with a bad monitor! I could barely see at night, the crypt was nighttime with sunglasses, and water was this mysterious sound that appeared in certain areas that had vicious fish in it! Good thing I had a Wiskah! Ok, so I started out nearly blind and played on! then I got the new monitor, and I was in CRPG Heaven! I played on, then all of my characters went deaf! I continue to play! Eventually, I'll find a cure. They're holding a Telethon and a cure is surely right around the corner! Heeheee! :-D

DWB, harken not to the naysayers, nor give ear to the ingrates, but shew mercy upon your devoted fanatics, and give us the delight of our eyes, ears, fingertips, and minds! I agree with others who say you have a winner here and the makings of an even greater game for the future. We have confidence in your talents, and those of the team of your choosing, and we hold out the hope that Activision, in it's wisdom will see to it that a W&W II will one day grace the shelves of a store near YOU,and me, that sufficient time and resources be given to create a good quality game, and that the buying public will respond in kind providing profit and a good reputation for quality gaming.
