I didn't miss it, I evaded it. [img]tongue.gif[/img] By removing the EXP cap and playing with a reduced party, Sarevok can indeed nab a couple of Fighter HLAs and still go on to raise holy hell as a high-level F->M. Even under the EXP cap, you can still go to Fighter Level 21 (2 HLAs) and hit Mage Level 22 (5 HLAs)--and the only drawback as compared to a pure Mage is the loss of 2 Level 8 spells, and 1 Level 9 spell. Just because 13 is "optimum" doesn't mean you can't go higher.

[ADD:] Even though Dualing so late requires extreme patience (and I should know), the fun part is that you can still use your Fighter HLAs even while the Fighter half is buried in the Dual. So, if Sarevok chose WW and GWW, that's twice per day he can do some mean ass-kicking with a Staff or a Sling, pitiful THAC0 or not. [/ADD]
