Fighter/Cleric DualClass. The ultimate tank, high HP, good saves, can use good armor and flails, plus some simple buffs and you can becom 65% resistant to physical damage in a synch. By far one of my favorite classes.
SOA spoilerish ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; Want to maximise you F/C have Yoshimo steal the scroll of Limited whish at the pen and parchament, have aerie read it and ask for a majical item, you now have a set of full plate mail +2 befor you even leave the promenade.

Playing a paladin (esp. a chevalier) you can become awfully mighty. Also as a mage. Right now I'm playing a F/M/T. Versatile, but not too interesting. The much praised kensai was pretty hard to keep alive. This is probably the same with the monk (defintely my next project).

For me the best classes are:
1. Monk 2. Sorcerer 3. Fighter/mage A max lvl monk is just so... gosu.

I enjoyed my Cavalier, Cleric/Ranger (multiclass) and a Blade !
Blade can be really fun - all those combinations of spins, Mislead + Improved Bard song, Use any Item, Time and Spike Traps, ...
