of course there's always a fun way....
mondo cheesey alert...(and spoilers) ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;; ; if you have jan, and he has a few spike traps, plant 6 regular traps where the first form spawns... then at the end of the walkway, leading up to his spawn point, plant about 6 spike traps, or many delay action fireballs... initiate dialog, as soon as he turns hostile, the regular traps will kill his first form...then have a char with the ring of ram use it on the skull form... you're going for a bank shot, like in pool..if the angle is correct, the ring will send him among the spike traps, instantly blotting him out... much giggling on my part follows..

If you are high-level enough to have "a few" Spike traps with Jan, Kangaxx should not pose a real problem and can be killed more easily otherwise.
