I like iced tea... well, only the sweetened and lemoned kind
![]() Good things about juice (i.e. "Why You Should Drink Juice Every Day"): 1. Normally hard-to-eat parts of fruit (like the uncomfortable stuff on grape skins that is very good for you) are liquified and tastified (like Concord grape juice - and the juice tastes great!) 2. Normally hard-to-digest parts of plants are liquified and made into something easily digestible (carrot juice has something like 4 times as much vitamin A (or something like that) compared to the carrots it was taken from) 3. You can add bananas to make smoothies ![]() I like to have juice with my sandwiches! ![]() If you don't like sweetness, you can always buy the rare non-sweet juice (unsweetened cranberry juice, plain old blueberry juice (not really sweet, surprisingly), etc.). I also miss apple cider (American) - I used to love that stuff. I used to chug down a (large) bottle of Welch grape juice every day, too... Ah, those were the (fruity) days...

A Response to a 'Defense of Juice'
by vegikus ![]() The uncomfortable stuff on grape skins, which is actually yeast, is washed off in the juice making process, along with some of the vitamins because of the heat pasteurization process. As for carrot juice, the only reason there is more vitamin A is because there are "more" carrots per glass. ![]() And finally, I must agree that smoothies are good (unless you cook them) but that they are not really juice - the whole fruit, or at least the part that would be eaten - is used and retained for consumption. ![]() ![]() ![]() But, like I said, I'm not anti-juice, I just don't drink it. ![]() |

I imagine the shady looking fellow with a dagger and if the ranger lord uses a blade, I think he would like a scimitar, else a long bow. I always imagine kings using swords, probably due to King Arthur and Excalibur.

and
LOL, imagine vegepigmies with these names. Come to think about it, there might be a new take on the vegepigmy; the "fruitipigmy". ST ps, I like juice and prefer orange, grape, or apple juice. The little-uns get most of the juice, tho (as I'm fully grown)

Hmm - I like frutipygmies better than vegepygmies, I think - tastier after the battle, anyway!
![]() Getting hard to find time to draw pictures these days. Trying to work on the shady man now, though ![]() Edit: Finished it, put it up! ![]()
