I'd say that DS is DEFINITELY worth the money Galadria, it really, really rules. Wonderful graphics, fun gameplay, challenging yet not impossible foes. Action, but not pure hack 'n' slash.
Takes a short while getting used to, but once you do it's tons of fun |

IMHO, DS is probably more of a game to fill the time whilst we wait anxiously for NWN. Despite however good DS is, from what ive heard, and seen, NWN will be superior in many respects. As far as my knowledge extends, DS is limited to interior locations. oh yeah duh, thus the name dungeon siege.NWN, similar to Baldurs gate, shows to make use of both inside and outdoor locations. And the idea of a dungeon master creating stories and levels in multiplayer is an idea which has given me the greatest amount of excitement in a long time as far as pc games go. Speaking of baldurs gate2, whats it like in multiplayer? i fail to see how such a game would be any fun online....

Oh no, DS has MANY outdoor locations. GREAT ones too, have GOT to love the forests, best ones I've seen in a long time in any RPG.....
Oh and soon there will supposedly be released a program that allows us to make our own DS maps/levels/quests. [ 04-19-2002, 02:47 PM: Message edited by: Neb ] |

BG II is great im Multiplayer. I've been through the game 9 times, only once in single player. My group is my family, so we take along our characters over and over (they are maxed out in XP) and include Imoen, Viconia, and Nalia. Once, my stepson (Piestrider) tried Jan instead of Imoen, but I threw a major tantrum until we got her back.
