LOL
Frankly I don't care. I live on Mars. Here I have an advanced missile defence system made from melons. So be nice to me Earthlings!!! All my other friends like Neb, Kaz, Seph, lioness, Reeka and Melanie can take really fast flights to Mars. And Eternity lives on Jupiter so [ 01-10-2002: Message edited by: Avatar ]

quote: LOL - he's got you there Saz, I'm just disappointed that I didn't spot it first. As for inventing a weapon to combat the threat I seem to remember that the US is developing missiles which will be able to take out small to medium sized asteroids, but they will not fire them unless the US is directly threatened.

quote: I'm surprised they don't simply send a small bullet rocket to the asteroid containing all the speeches over the last century of prominent lawyer- and industrialist-politicians at the asteroid. The air-filled rhetoric, quickly and suddenly released, would simply vaporize anything within ten thousand miles. |

quote: Actually, it could be if they decided to... Texas is the only state in the US that has written into it's state constitution that they can secede from the Union at any time they want.
